Hello everyone and happy tuesday!!
Hope spring is in full swing where ever you are. We've had some chilly days here and even some flurries over the weekend but it will only get better!! Plus the sun was out most of the day yesterday so no big complains here.
Just missing my kitty right now, he is getting neutered today :-(
We have a new challenge for you at digital tuesday, this week it was Lora's turn to choose a theme and she chose something
for the kids.
What a fun theme, I love making cards for kids, in fact I think most of my cards are suitable for kids as I just love cute images!
I did have some trouble though deciding on what image to use, as I have soooo many "cute ones" to choose from. Finally decided to play with one of Mo Manning's images so I could enter Bronte and Bella's challenge this week which is "show us some attitude". I do think this little boy seems to be sneaking in a cookie, so that counts as an attitude, right?
My sketch was inspired by this week's sketch saturday, but I could not get the triangles to work for me, so I left them off and won't be entering my card there this week.
I used papers from a basic grey 6x6 paper pack. Embellished with some olive grosgrain ribbon and a button with some linen thread. To finish it off I did some zigzag sewing with my janome mini. That is all, didn't even add any glitter on this! Oh, and the coloring was done with my derwent coloursoft pencils blended with baby oil, and then some copic markers for skin tones.

Here are a few other challenges I'd like to combine:
- Bella and Bronte's (Mo's) challenge (Show me some attitude)
- Sugar Creek Hollow (stitching)
- Wee memories (anything goes)
- Card Making Mama's (animals)
- Phindy's Place (all about animals)
- Sentimental sundays (cute and cuddly)
Ok, that should be all this time. I hope you can join us this week. My Grafico is sponsoring our challenge and they are giving away one digistamp set plus a 20% off voucher to be used in their store! All you have to do to get a chance at winning, is make something for a child and use something digital on your project. You may even combine it with other challenges, as long as it's a new project.
Have a great day!!
