I am so excited to show you the card I created for today. I absolutely love this stamp! And I am so in love with the earthy colors I used on today's card.
I colored the image using my derwent coloursoft pencils and baby oil, skin tones with copic markers.
The sentiment is from an old and retired set from Stampin Up. I used the direct to paper technique on the sentiment and distressed the edges.
I would love to enter this card to the following challenges:
- Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes (plus Ribbons)
- Crafty Cardmakers - 2W, C15 - (1st week) Anything Goes (ends 16th Oct)
- There's Magic in the Air - SIO - Go Green
- Sentimental Sundays - must include a Sentiment - Sewing or Stitching
- Catch The Bug - 3E, SIO - Anything goes Freebie available (see challenge for full details)
- Crafty Emma - E3 - #56 Totally Gorjuss/Pretty Girls
- Fab n Funky - die cuts or punches
- Truly scrumptious - distressing
I have another project to show you too, I have always wanted to try "stamping" on a candle, and I thought this stamp would be perfect for it. I can't believe how easy it actually was to do. If you'd like to try it, here is the tutorial I used from Splitcoaststampers.
After transferring the image onto the candle I used some gold stickles for some sparkle.
And now it’s time for you to continue the hop by hopping over to Mariska's blog.
