And here is what I created for today using the adorable Wee Stamp
"A letter for me" along with Raindrop Echo Design's "Everyday Mini Postage Stamps".
I went with a simple look for this, just used a few buttons and linen thread to embellish, and did some machine sewing.
The papers are from the linen pack by DCWV.
I colored with derwent coloursoft pencils and blended with baby oil.
I have been getting a few emails asking how I do my coloring, I am not good at doing tutorials, but anyone interested in this technique, you can find lots of tutorials on You-tube, the technique is called gamsol magic, and I just use baby oil in place of mineral spirits and Derwent Coloursoft Pencils instead of Prismacolor Pencils, although I have many of those too. I do want to let you know, that it matters what kind of card stock you use, I find that Neenah solar crest works best for me (others that I have tried are GP 110lb, Stampin Up and Gina K. - the pencils don't blend as well on the other papers that I used.)
As I mentioned above the postage stamps are from the set "Everyday Mini Postage stamps" by Raindrop Echo Designs. I used the mini postage shapeology die to cut them out.
Not much more to tell about this card. I hope you like it!
