To make my card I used the stamp Flower Perch, heat embossed on Bristol Vellum paper and I colored with my copic markers and a touch of Faber Castell Polychromos pencils for some shading. It's hard to tell but I used a Brick Wall stamp (also from Penny Black) around the image for some interest.
The sentiment is from the Penny Black set Eloquence. I distressed the edges using my distresser tool. Ive accidentally torn the paper using the distresser, but I decided to make it part of the design and tore it in another place as well, and I added a little bit of pink pattern paper under it. The edges were then inked with some Antique Linen distress ink and I finished it off with a little clear button and jute twine.
Penny Black Flower Perch // Penny Black Brick Wall // Penny Black Eloquence // Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink // Clear Embossing Powder // Copic Markers // Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils // Antique Linen Distress Ink // Stamp Platform - Options // Paper Distresser // May Arts Jute Twine
