Hello everyone, it's time for a new Garden Party to start and all are invited to join in the fun!
As always, you may share anything in or from a garden. This can be crafts of any kind, garden photography or garden tips, weddings and tea parties taking place the garden... So many options!! As always the linky tool is at the end of the post along with my Top Picks from the last party.
I think my mojo left me way before Christmas and it's still nowhere to be found but at least I knew I wanted to use Tracy Evans stamps and this is what I came up with.
It turned out to be a bit "busier" than I intended. That is because I
originally used only green, black and white, but then decided to add some
yellow and this is the final result. A little mistake led me to add a little
more yellow and not much I can do about it now :)
Stamps used are all by Tracy Evans: TE38 Silhouettes, TE14 The Wonder of Nature, TE33 Sunflower,
TE32 Alpha Florals and Art Notes from Tracy's Aall and Create release. For
inks I used Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide, Mustard Seed Distress Ink,
Versafine Onyx. I also used a black Posca pen for some spatter along with
diluted Wilderness ink. Stamps are available directly from Tracy Evans in the
UK or Topflight Stamps and Simon Say Stamp in the US.
I plan to share my card with these challenges:

There were lots of beautiful garden themed posts to choose from last month,

easy but I finally managed and here they are listed in the order of entry:

I wanted to add a little reminder that the annual Crafty Year in Review is still open until January 18th and I would love for you to join in there as well to share you favorite creations of the last year. I think it's so nice to have a look back!
Think it's the time of year Ellie, my mojo went away on it's winter holiday and yet to return. Very much like what you created here, has vibes of Spring. Hopefully find something to link up.

Love your wintry card Ellie. I like the combination of colours you chose. Lovely TE stamps. xxx
ReplyDeleteI think this turned out fabulous Ellie! The silhouette stamps are beautiful, The added yellow with the green makes me think of spring, the stark wintery tree silhouette is like nature holding it's breath just waiting until the time is right for life to begin again.

Your card is beautiful, Ellie! I wouldn’t have guessed it wasn’t what you were originally planning! Planning is overrated anyway😄. It’s fun to just play with my supplies and see where they take me! Thank you for choosing my lilac card as a Top
ReplyDeletePick and congratulations to the other Top Picks!
I love your wintercard! And great to be a Top pick! Cingrats to Karen and Carrie! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteLovely composition Ellie sometimes letting creativity take over can take us on another route for a bigger and brighter adventure, I agree with Carrie planning can be so overrated :))
ReplyDeleteHappy creative 2026 Tracey x
Happy New Year Ellie!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! I got a lot of inspriration of it- for some of my stamps never used...
Thank you for sharing at We Love Stamping Challenge.
This time of year I always see lots of crows, so I think your card is so appropriate. I love your creative design.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and like that awesome background!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card and use of the stamps. Thank you for joining us at We Love Stamping. My mojo always goes on holiday after Christmas, I think as i use it all up on Christmas crafting and too many December birthdays that it then needs an annual break! lol
ReplyDeleteEllie, I LOVE how you have portrayed a winter garden, with the hint of greenery shown "around" the tree, and the hope of sunshine with the yellow colors dancing around the scene. Even the crows seem to be conversing about "better" days coming. Nature is awe inspiring no matter what the season. Wonderful card! Thanks for hosting the challenge, too.

Hah, I also doubled up with Lost Coast and We Love Stamping! Love how your card turned out, I think the little pops of yellow lift the overall design very nicely and those bird silhouettes are lovely.
LG, Rosi
