A cased birthday card


I needed a birthday card for a young man who is turning 18 (and he always has admired my cards!!) Let me tell you...it is very hard to make a card for this occasion. But I found this beautiful card on SCS by Joelysmom and thought it would be perfect if I just changed the colors. That is pretty much what I did. I really liked the sketch. The balloon were embossed and cut out. I also embossed the Background stamp on pacific point paper using white craft ink and clear embossing powder.
Recipe:
Stamps: SU birthday whimsy, typeset numbers, print pattern
Paper: all SU
Accessories: silver cord, brad, embossing powder, punches
Techniques: embossing, sponging.
