Meet Sammy Squirrel

Hello and happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great day! It is nasty outside today, but I finally got lots of things accomplished that I was working on.

Today I am going to show you a card made with one of the images from my very own line of digital stamps!! (I am so excited!!!) They can be purchased at my etsy store, the digital stamp oasis. I finally went online with 5 of them today, but more will be added!!
Image was printed with my ink jet printer (at approx. 2.75 x 2.5 inches) and colored with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. It worked like a charm, no smearing AT ALL. But it does not work with baby oil.
The sketch is from last week's monday mojo sketch challenge. I loved that sketch and will use it again!! I do not recall the name of the designer paper. But I did add stickles to it for some bling. I also added stickles to the strawberry leafs. Other embellishments are scallop edges, circle sentiments adhered to a scallop circle, and some paper piercing. The top left looked too empty so I added the two green brads. The flourish stamp on the bottom left is from stampabilities. The finished card measures approx. 6.75x 4.75. The perfect size for the envelopes I got from my after christmas 75%off sale (I love those sales!!!)
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you are having a wonderful day with some time to create!

Recipe:
digital image: the stamp oasis
stamps: stampabilites, stampin up
paper: stampin up kiwi kiss, riding hood red, basic grey, gp white, designer paper source unknown
accessories:brads, ribbon, scallop edge punch and scallop circle punch ( all su), 1 1/4 inch circle punch (EK), small handheld hole punch (EK),

Der Glitzer gibt den richtigen Pep und sieht auf den Erdbeeren klasse aus.

Digital stamps are quickly becoming the new "must haves" LOL. I am usually slow to try new things, but I jumped on the band wagon for digital stamps the first time I saw them..I will have to check out yours :o)

What paper did you use to print on? Did you have to heat set the ink? Just wondering the best way to do it ;o)
