Creatively Cute Blogger Challenge #7

Hello and happy Saturday. Hope you are having a GREAT Weekend. It is raining here, but that is ok, I have my all doors and windows open and enjoying the outdoor smell of rain.
Today I didn't feel like making a card with lot of stuff, so I thought Laura's challenge for the creatively cute blogger group would be perfect. It is to make a one-layer-card. Be sure to hop over to her blog to read all the details and to see the super candy she is giving away. Anyone can play along!
For my card I just used a piece of confetti craft 8.5 x 5.5 inches folded in half. I stamped the image in memento black ink and then used my versamarker to "color" in the hedgehog. Then I got out my stampin up chalks (which I haven't used in - like forever) and applied chalk to the versamarker. Used my white gel pen for highlighs. Sentiment is from SU's set Delight in life, also stamped with memento ink. To finish the card off I added the ribbon and some more white gel pen hightlights to the small flower in the sentiment. Hope you like today's card and I hope you decide to play along too.

    i think it's soooo beautiful! sometimes cards don't need all the "fluff".

    i love how this turned out and have had a few images I thought would work well. you've inspired me to give it a whirl!
