Happy Tuesday everyone. It's time for another challenge at the Digital Tuesday challenge blog. It's my turn to host and I chose the theme
Dots and Stripes
I think that is super easy and fun so hope you'll all join in this week. Digital Delights is sponsoring us again this week, and there's a chance to win a $10 gift cerfificate to be used at their amazing store.
For my card I used a brand new image that I bought from Whimsy Stamps when they had the 25% off sale. It can be found in the Crissy Armstrong digital collection at Whimsy Stamps.
It's been printed on couture 80lb card stock and colored with my derwent coloursoft pencils and baby oil.
I randomly used a stamp from SU's retired "itty bitty backgrounds" around the image then applied stickles to the dots. I also applied stickles to some of the stripes, the dots on the snowflakes on designer paper, the punched snowflakes and the star.
Glassy Glaze was applied to the baubles on the tree for some extra shine.
My designer paper is from Bo Bunny. Card stock from Stampin Up.
To finish the card off I did some machine stitching and added pearls to the corners. The complete list of products can be found below.
My card was made to fit some other challenges as well:
I could not have combined all these without her help!! Go visit her fabulous blog, she also has some fantastic blog candy for 200 followers.
That is all for today, hope you will find some time to play in this week's digital tuesday challenge, you may combine as many challenges as you like, just don't forget to use a digi somewhere on your creation!
Have a great day,
Ellie.
