A fairy birthday card

Happy Wednesday!!

I needed a birthday card for a little girl who's turning 5 soon and I thought this stamp from Lily of the valley would be perfect to use!

I heat embossed the image and then colored it using derwent coloursoft pencils and baby oil.
Designer Paper is from Bo Bunny (I think), card stock is from Stampin up and Couture (white).

I embellished with a punched border (martha stewart punch), some prima flowers, punched flowers (stampin up punch), Tim Holtz flourish die (sizzix), a paper doily, ribbon and silver cord and some pearls. I also did some sewing with my janome mini and applied lots of stickles and then I used some scissors to distress the edges.

My card fits these challenges:

• Anything goes (emboss it: my image is heat embossed)
• A spoon full of sugar (distressing)
• Paper Playtime (use something you love : I love pink, primas, pearls and this LOTV image)
• Stamps r us (sparkle and scallops)
• Creative Inspirations paint (mythology: my fairy image)
• Paper Sundaes (punches, embossing, ribbon, blue)

That should be about it.
