Penny Black at All Sorts - March Challenge

It's the first of March and that means we have a new challenge for you at

Penny Black at All Sorts!

With spring just around the corner our theme this month is

Welcome Spring.

As always you can create anything you like, just be sure to use a Penny Black Stamp as your main image to be eligible for one of the amazing prizes.
There are going to be several stamps from penny black, a prize from Letraset, as well as a discount from PB stamps. Hope you'll decide to play along for a chance to win!

For my card I used the stamp called "Friendly surprise". Another one of my hedgie favorites!!
It has been heat embossed on hot press watercolor paper and then water colored with Letraset Aquamarkers and copics for hedgie's face, hands and feet.

Papers are form my stash (stampin up and bo bunny I think). I decorated with some prima flowers with sticky pearls and a flourish made with a tim holtz die. To finish it off I did some sewing with my janome sew mini.

The sketch was inspired by a sketch made by Anne-Marije.
