I had this image sitting around waiting to be colored, so that is just what I did today. Didn't really plan on making a card with it yet, but since I had a little bit of time, I decided to turn it into a clean and simple card.
The image is called "Topsy Turvy" and is available at Whimsy Stamps.
I colored the image with derwent coloursoft pencils and baby oil and sponged the edges of the image piece with turquoise ink. Patterned paper is from Stampin up. The sentiment is from Stampin up also.
To finish it off I added a little bit of ribbon and some glitter around the sentiment and the cake. But for some reason glitter doesn't show up well on my pictures.

My Niece has chosen a "topsy turvey" cake as a wedding cake .. .. not that she is getting married yet. They will probably have gone out of fashion by the time she and her chappie have enough funds!!!
