London Celebrations or Jubilee - Penny Black and More

Good morning and thanks so much for stopping by!

It's the first Sunday in May and that means it's time for our new challenge over at Penny Black and More!

Our theme for you this months is

London Celebrations and Jubilee,

a perfect challenge to celebrate all the things going on in London this year, with the summer olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

I do have to admit this was a real challenge for me, I had no clue what to make and don't really have any London specific stamps.  But I did have this adorable stamp "High Spirits" by Penny Black and thought it would be perfect to use for a London Jubilee card.

Designing for

I colored it using my faber castell polychromos pencils. It's a pretty large stamp, so I made a simple card with it. Just added a flower (which I made using a MFT die and cut out several flowers using mulberry paper, then put them together using a brad), did some machine sewing and added the sentiment (Whimsy Stamps Celebration circle pennants and circle pennant die). And since our theme is London Celebrations and Jubilee I used the colors of the British Flag.
I would love to enter this card to the following challenges:
Hope you'll find some time this month to play along. Remember you don't have to use a penny black stamp to  play along, any company rubber or clear stamp works.
We have once again some amazing prizes to be won, thanks to our generous sponsors Penny Black, Stampalot, Crimson Cloud, and Crafts U Love.

Have a great day!!

PS: I have no idea why the little Penny Black and More logo is showing underneath the card. I cannot see it when I am in edit mode, and it still shows up when I publish the post. I am not sure I like this new blogger format...
