Hello and welcome to Whimsy Stamps July rubber stamp and die RELEASE DAY!
Today, Whimsy Stamps is releasing 13 wonderful new rubber stamps, stamp sets and 3 fabulous new Shapeology dies. These new goodies are available to buy right now from the Whimsy Stamps store along with all your Whimsy favorites. From today until 31 July the Whimsy DT and Special Guests will be showcasing these wonderful new products with a daily mini blog hop. Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you will have 24hrs to enter each prize draw by leaving a comment on every blog listed for that day. At the end of release week (Wednesday 1 August) we will post a Release Round-Up on the Whimsy blog. This will include a selection of DT work from the new release week together with a complete list of winners from the daily mini blog hops.
For my card I used the stamp Lil Montana from Whimsy 's Elisabeth Bell collection. Such a beautiful stamp, and it was so much fun to color!!
She's been colored using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and then cut out. I used Whimsy's picket fence die and Martha Stewarts grass punch to create the background. I used one of the stamps from Whimsy's set "Lavish Flourishes" around the top part of the sky.
I embellished with a few butterflies (Martha Stewart punch), and added some rhinestones.
The sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps from the set "Everyday Sayings Notables 4".
I've combined a few challenges here too:
- Paper and Such Design - 2W, 2E - Stitching Real or Faux
- Shopping Our Stash - C13 - #61 Something New (I used a brand new stamp)
- Simon Says Stamp and Show... -Hey Girl
- The Pink Elephant - Summer
- Craft a Scene - in the garden
To be entered into today's mini blog hop prize draw, be sure to leave a comment on ALL of the DT posts listed below by 12:00PM EST tomorrow:
