Cute little Holly and a Facebook giveaway

Hello and happy wednesday! Hope you are enjoying your week so far!

Before I get to my card, I'd like to let you all know about a little Whimsy Stamps "Facebook giveaway" to celebrate 2000" likes".
All you have to do is "like" Whimsy Stamps page on facebook, then leave a comment on their giveaeway post over there, to be entered into the drawing. One very lucky winner will receive a rubber stamp from whimsy's Elisabeth Bell collection.
And if you'd like to add me as a friend, you can do so by clicking here.
I created a new facebook account just for my hobby and am posting all my card there as well.

*******************************

I made this card using one of the new September stamps from Whimsy Stamps.

This cutie is called "Holly" and it's from the Wee Stamps collection.

I colored her using my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and then some copics for the skin tones.
I used  papers from my stash, not sure who makes them, but they came from a 6x6 paper pack that I purchased last year.

The sentiment is from the september release too, from the set "Holiday Notables 2". I cut it out using the notables 2 die, and then layered it onto the new "Snowflakes notable 2 die.

I embellished with some ribbon, a couple layered snowflakes using the Whimsy Stamps layered snowflake die, and a MS punch, and to finish it off I added some glitter. Oh, and the flourishes that you can see by the snowflake are made with one of Whimsy Stamps' leafy corner dies.

I hope you liked my card. If you'd like to see some more new Whimsy cards created with the sept. stamps, then stop by the Whimsy Stamps inspirations blog!

I am entering my card to the following challenges:
Thank you again for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying the rest of the day. I have lots of cleaning to do since I had to work until late last night, and hubby and the kids like to leave a mess for me clean up on the days that I work :-) Good thing I only work part time!
