----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Sunday everyone and t hanks so much for stopping by!

I hope you're staying warm where ever you are. We actually were lucky and had some warmer weather these last few days, at least it's warm for December. Today's high is supposed to be 60 F (or about 16 C) Not too bad, as I love opening up a few windows around the house to get some fresh air in without freezing!

We have a new challenge for you over at Penny Black and More. And since we know everyone will have a busy month with the Holiday's just around the corner, we made it an easy one. It's simply

...Your Choice.

Just don't forget to use a rubber or clear stamp as your main focus, to be eligible for the prize.

This month we are sponsored once again by some amazing companies - Penny Black, Stampalot, Joanna Sheen, Crafts U Love.

Here's what I made for this month.

I don't know about you, but somehow I have a hard time using the smaller stamps from PB's clear stamp sets. The I saw this gorgeous card on Beate's blog and thought these cuties were perfect to use with a similar sketch. Thanks for the inspiration Beate.

To make my card I punched 4 circles out of the designer paper then adhered it onto white card stock. Then I stamped the cuties inside the circles, and I popped up the balloon and flowers on the top left by stamping them a second time and cutting them out.

I embellished with a little flower, some rhinestones and some twine, and a punched out butterfly. When I was done I thought it looks a little plain, so I added the scallops on the left and right, and used the same circle punch as well as my SU scallop circle punch to cut out the scallops for each of the circles.

The sentiment is a really old one from Stampin Up.
I really liking  how this card turned out.

I am entering my card to the following challenges:
I hope you liked my card. Would love to see you play along too. Simply click the logo below to visit the challenge blog.
Have a wonderful day!!

  1. Good morning Ellie,

I really like the design of your card, the four circles are so effective with the different images. The spotty background also work so well with the theme.

Hope you have a good Sunday.

this is so adorable ellie! i usually make tags with the smaller images; not as creative as what you've done - it's a great way to showcase those cute little hedgies and butterfly.
