Penny Black and More - still time to join us

Good morning all, this post is a day too late but better late than never!

Here's a card I made for Penny Black and More, midmonth reminder.

We have several fabulous prizes up for grabs so don't miss your chance at joining us! We are being sponsored by Penny Black, Pretty Little Ribbons, and Crimson Cloud, so lots of chances to win!

Here is my card, using the stamp "absolutely silly about you". I don't think it is still available, but I  believe Penny Black sells it  now as a smaller version in one of their transparent sets.

I 've had this stamped image for some time, and it was already colored too. So I decided to finally use it. To make my card, I fussy cut it out. I used a simple sketch, with a strip of patterned paper, a border die (double scallop border by Whimsy stamps), and then did some embossing too, using a cuttlebug embossing folder.I added some twine, and then the sentiment.

Thanks so much for visiting! Enjoy the rest of your day!

  2. Do you now Ellie, it didn't even occur to me you were late, I popped here yesterday morning but realised my time was ahead of yours so would never have known had you not said.

My policy is also better late then never, I was rather late with one of my other DT pieces this month and only remembers when I saw the challenge had started.

That's a really pretty border die and love how you have embossed his little tie.
