Blossoms and Bows for April Penny Black and More

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! The weather finally seems to be getting a little warmer over here. Tomorrow school will start again, spring break went by way too fast. Too bad both kids got sick at some point during their break, my son is just now trying to get over a stomach bug. But at least we all got to enjoy our visit to Chicago without anyone being sick.

We have a new challenge for you at Penny Black and more, since it's the first Sunday of the month.
 I hope you'll join us. It should be  a pretty fun and easy one this time. Plus we have some fabulous prizes up for grabs from several sponsors.

This month we'd love to see some blossoms and bows. Perfect for this time of the year. I can't wait for my tulips and daffodils to start blooming. It's been a waaayyy too long winter this year, so I am definitely ready for some flowers and spring weather!

Here is what I made for today's challenge using the stamp "Butterfly Suite" by Penny Black.


The flowers and butterflies were stamped twice, colored using copic markers and then cut out separately as you can see in the photo.
The button sentiment was just recently released at Whimsy Stamps, it's part of the "buttons sentiment set", and there is a matching button die available. Love it, now I want a die set with different shape and sizes of buttons, because they are my most favorite embellisment, and some of the real buttons are just way too think in my opinion.

I used papers from stampin up and my minds eye, sorry but I don't know any names of the packs as I don't usually keep track of them.
