Floral Silhouette

Happy Friday!

Finally found some time  to share a card made with one of my favorite stamps from Just For Fun Rubberstamps. Can't believe I haven't used it yet before, but that's what happens when you get a huge amount of amazing new rubber stamps, you just don't know what to use first.

A quick to create card, I simply stamped the floral silhoutte in black archival ink. Without re-inking I stamped the image twice again to create lighter images.
Next I added some ink using a chickenwire stencil and distress inks. Edges were inked using darker shades of colors and finally I used the silhouette stamp around the edges too.
Matted onto black card stock and then added to my card base.

Product list:
Queen Ann's Lace stamp, Enjoy Life sentiment (both by JFF rubberstamps)
yellow, orange and brick red distress inks
black archival ink
twine

I'd love to play along here:

  4. Hi Ellie, Thanks for your visit & comment at my blog. Popped over using your link, and hope I'm at the correct blog, as I see that you have several listed. This beauty caught my eye. Love the way you've used the silhouette with generational stamping and the texture that you achieved with inking the stencil. I absolutely love the deep rich colors that you've sponged on the perimeter. TFS & Happy wkend.
