Embossed Winter Song

I finally cleaned my desk today, since I left it a mess last time I made something, and then yesterday me and my daughter worked on a little gift for her secret Santa. It took forever to clean up, but when I was finished I felt like making a quick card with the beautiful stamp "Winter Song" since I still need a few more Christmas cards.

I've wanted to heat emboss this image since I first got it, and decided on a CAS card heat embossing with silver.
This is a very quick card to make, I simply stamped the image with versamark ink, heat embossed with silver embossing powder and added my sentiment using a turquoise ink. I wanted a little more color on the card so I added a little bit of scallop paper to the card and some turquoise rhinestones.
I apologize for the bad photo. It's such a foggy day out today, no sunshine at all!

Product list:
Stamps: Winter Song,
White 110lb card stock, turquoise card stock
Versamark ink, turquoise ink
detail silver embossing powder
sticky rhinestones, scallop border punch

  3. Ellie, this is one beautiful PB image (and I've been drooling over it, ever since its debut). You have used it to make a stunning card, with the glisten of the silver embossing. Loved the added touches of color that you added to the silver. It's just gorgeous. Merry Christmas and TFS (how super that you & your daughter can craft together! Bet it was more fun than working alone. It's wonderful that you can share this interest).
