Dear Santa, Please Define Good - Handmade Christmas Card

It's time already for a new theme at Allsorts challenge. It's Lynn's week to host and her theme for this week is - I Love..... Hope you will play along with us for a chance to win one of our two prizes. We have a voucher to give away from Helping Hands Craft, and then there is a second prize of a Sizzix die. Remember, you may enter up to 3 times for more chances to win!

Here is my card .... can you guess what I love??

There had to be cute cats, of course! Colored using my Zig Clean Color makers which I also love. And a sort of clean and simple style which I love. And I love making Christmas cards!

I'm sure most of you will recognize this cute cat stamp from Penny Black, it's from the set Deck the Halls. It has been stamped onto Bristol Vellum Paper using Versafine Onyx ink and as mentioned colored using my Zig Clean Color markers and a Zig Detailer brush

My paper is very old, from a Stampin Up Christmas pack. The gold cord I've had forever as well.

How fun is  this sentiment from the PB set Dear Santa! Isn't is just perfect for these cute innocent looking cats? I'm sure they only have good intentions with this string of lights 😄

Part of it has been stamped directly onto the card base, and the other part has been heat embossed using white detail embossing powder on black card stock.

Thanks so much for visiting!

  1. That sentiment has brought a wry smile to my face as it's so fitting for the scenario in my craft room this morning, Rosa now seven months and having been such a good puppy decided in a moment of madness to strip one of the walls bare. I hadn't intended having it decorated but.......

A lovely Christmas card though Ellie.
