A Masculine Card with a Touch of Vintage

Today is the start of a new theme at Allsorts challenge. It's Dena's week to host and she would like to see "Birthday Cards" but as usual there is the option of "Anything Goes" so all your new crafty makes are welcome and all will be entered into the prize drawing.

I decided to make masculine birthday card using one of Tim Holtz's stamp sets - The Journey. The background was done with Distress inks and 3 stencils (clock, stripes and crackle). The text stamp, small clock and classic car are all part of the stamp set. Sentiment is from a Penny Black critter set. I love this font for masculine cards.

  2. I love making masculine cards for any age, but I don’t often make them vintage, I find it easier to make vintage cards for women. But I do think you nailed the vintage vibe for a man’s card with this one, it’s beautifully designed.

  20. Wow, your vintage card is just perfect for a man. Truly a stunning stamp set and you did a wonderful job. The car just beats everything and this brown and yellow color scheme complets your vintage creation beautifully and makes your card stand out.

  22. eliza vecca has a thin, non-greasy texture that I really like. After washing, I use it on damp hair, concentrating on the ends and avoiding the roots. It immediately absorbs and leaves no trace in its wake. I like that it doesn't make my hair seem greasy or weigh it down.
