Apples for you

The kids were playing with their friends today so I thought I'd play in Mo's Challenge this week. The theme is to use your favorite Mo Manning image and add a sentiment. I really love every single Mo Manning stamp that I have (wish I had more!), but I think this one is my very favorite.
I did fall in love with the new caroler's line after seeing Iulia's amazing card, and I love the Penny Black Mo Manning stamps, but I am talking myself out of buying more Christmas Stamps to save the $$. So I used one of the digis I bought earlier this year.

Here is my card for the challenge, and I combined it with a few others too.

Photobucket
I wanted to use new distress inks, but I don't own a laser printer, and my ink smeared. So I used my derwent coloursoft pencils instead.

The papers are from one of the My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper packs. Card stock is Soft Suede from Stampin Up and the white is by Neenah. The edges were all sponged using "old paper" distress ink.

I embellished with some flourishes which were done with the Whimsy Stamps Shapeoplogy "Vines" die, some buttons, seam binding and linen thread.
The sentiment is from a retired set by Stampin Up.

I'd love to enter this to the following challenges:
Thanks so much for visiting,
have a great day!

  21. I just love how this turned out and you used derwent coloursoft pencils which I own. I guess I really need to experiment more with coloring options. You have a very unique style to your cardmaking and I really like it.
