Happy Sunday!
I recently came across a new Photography challenge and since I do enjoy photography so much (although I'm not very good at it), I decided to join in :-) Check it out at A Camera and a Cookbook, maybe some of you would like to share too! This is the first challenge and I'm not sure that I can manage to share each weekend, but I will try.
The photography prompts for this week are:
I Spy No. 1
- Hello 2021
- Goal
- Old
- Green
- Happy
Hello 2021
First (short) hike of 2021 at a local park
Goals:
Old
Dried Flowers saved from an old bouquet of flowers.
A very old doily made either by my mom or grandma that's been in my family for as long as I remember and I brought it with me when I moved to the States.
And I used a photo app to make the photo old.
Green:
Happy:
All pictures were taken with a Canon DSLR camera.
Such gorgeous photography Ellie! I really love the winter scene especially!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! Being behind the camera is so much more fun than being in front of it!!
DeleteBeautiful photos, especially the pine needles covered in snow.

Thanks Marilyn! Same to you!
DeleteWhat wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty snowy scene and the dried flowers are beautiful x
Thanks so much!!
DeleteI think you are way better at this photography thing than you think you are. These are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Joanne! So glad I found this challenge (through your blog) so I can have a reason to photograph random things!! So fun!
DeleteI love the pine needles covered in snow. And your "old" picture is gorgeous. Maybe I should start adding lemon to my water to make me want to drink it more :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Natasha. I read about the health benefits of lemon water a while ago and I've been trying to keep them in the house since then. I used to just add them to a cup of tea (which sadly I don't drink often) but they're perfect in plain water too!
DeleteSo many great shots! I had a hard time choosing a favorite. I love your pic for you "goal." Really creative and a great goal! I love your interpretation of "happy" as well. 1997 is the year I got married! The "green" pic is beautiful! Being a southerner, photos like this make me so happy because we go years without ever seeing snow.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lysha! Whenever we have bad winter weather I wish I'd live somewhere south but I know I'd miss the snow! It makes everything look so pretty!
DeleteBlown away with the simple beauty of your photos!! Head of the class with you!! I am a huge fan of snow and yet living in far west Texas, we rarely see much. What a gorgeous shot of the field and the trees in the snow. And the snow-dipped pine needles. Congratulations on your years as a couple. My PC and I used to try to match for church on Sundays. But it was intentional. Unintentional is cuter!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by! I was surprised by the recent snow in parts of Texas!
DeleteThat is a really fun photo challenge, Ellie! And your photos are so great and creative. Thanks for sharing and linking up.
