November Card Chain Challenge Reveal Day

Hello and welcome!

Last month I joined in again with the Card Chain Challenge where every participant sends and received a card and today is reveal day - who sent what to whom. My card went to Joanne in CT.

As always, there are several challenge options to choose from, a sketch, colors, themes or techniques. I decided to go with one of the themes: Silhouettes and product option: Stencils. I also took a little inspiration from the sketch and colors but they aren't an exact match.

When I am given a theme of Silhouettes the beautiful Lavinia fairies of course come to mind first and that is what I used.

The beautiful fairy is Lavinia's Aurora, also used Lavinia's Celestial Tree large and the stencil is by Penny Black Hypnotic. And I used one of Lavinia's hills masks, of course you can use a homemade mask out of copy paper to get similar results. Distress inks in shades of yellow and orange were used for inking. The sentiment is from the Penny Black set Blooming Sentiments.

I was so happy to receive the beautiful fall themed card below from Joy in CO and it looked beautiful displayed on my mantel.

By the way, any card maker from anywhere in the world can join in at Card Chain Challenge as long as you are able to make and send a card to one person on the sign up list in a timely manner (so that the card arrives before the end of the month). You can view the sign up linky here

Thanks so much for visiting!
