Hello and Happy Tuesday! It is time for another fun challenge over on the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog. Amy is the hostess this time around and she chose such a fun challenge "April Showers bring May flowers" Perfect for my location. It has been raining for several days here.
And I am so very excited to let you know that Dustin Pike is the sponsor this week! He is giving away 3 of his adorable digi-stamps to one lucky winner!!
Ok, onto my card now.
I used this cute bee digi-stamp from dustin pike, isn't it just perfect for this challenge?! Printed on GP white 110lb card stock with my HP inkjet and colored with copics. Papers I used are basic black, gp white and soft sky, as well as a retired designer paper from SU. I printed the sentiment on the computer and mounted with a brad so you can actually turn it. I embellished with prima flowers, brads, gingham ribbon and stickles. I also stamped a flourish on the left top with soft sky ink.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you get a chance to play in this challenge.

CAS12 Best Buddies
Hello and happy Monday! I hope you are having a good start of the week.
I decided today to do a CAS challenge over on SCS. The challenge is to use ribbon scraps. I sure have lots of those. The image is Bestest Buddies , a new one from the Digital Stamp Oasis. I already had it colored in, so this card didn't take long to make. Matted with pacific point and gp white, then adhered to a piece of 5.25 square of pacific point. I added the pumpkin pie ribbon scraps and secured on the back with tape. Sentiment was printed on the computer and punched out with the word window punch, layered on a pumpkin pie punchout. Did paper piercing around the edge and finished off by adding the old olive buttons with scraps of silver cord.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, be sure to check back tomorrow for my sample for the new digital tuesday challenge hosted by Amy. (There is also going to be a new sponsor with some awesome digi-stamps for you to win!!)

FS116 Mail day
Hello and happy Sunday.
Today I decided to do the featured stamper challenge over on SCS. Wattle is the featured Stamper, be sure to check out her gallery, she has some beautiful cards!
I chose to CASE this card. While I don't have the same image, I thought this cute Susie Squirrel image would be a perfect substitute. I kept the same color scheme and also the same sketch. I did add another black layer and also added prima flowers.
Image was colored with copics.
Recipe:
Stamps: Digi-stamp from the Digital Stamp Oasis, Vases in Vogue (SU)
Paper: GP white, basic black, bashful blue, retired DP by SU
Ink: HP inkjet, mellow moss, versafine black, bashful blue, copics
Accessories: circle punches, lace border punch, ribbon, prima flowers, rhinestone brads
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, be sure to check out the Digital Tuesday challenge if you like to use digital stamps - the theme is Earth day, and it is a color challenge.

Sketch Saturday #48 Flying High
Hello and happy Saturday! I made this card for today's sketch saturday.
I decided to use a brand new image from the Digital Stamp Oasis. My first time actually using one of the new images, I have been so busy!!
The image was printed at 3.5 x 5 inches with my HP inkjet printer on GP white 110lb card stock. I colored it with copics. I sponged all the white edges with tempting turquoise ink. The sentiment is from Upsy Daisy (SU). Papers used are basic black, GP white, tempting turquoise prints designer paper and real red. I don't have a star punch (will definitely have to get one!!), so I stamped a old star stamp and cut it out. The star button is from a bag of buttons I got at walmart. Scallop nesties and scallop border punches were also used.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, be sure to check out the digital stamp oasis etsy store for a total of 8 new images that were just added today!

Digital Tuesday #3 Celebrate Earth Day
Hello and happy tuesday, it is time for another fun digital tuesday challenge over on the Digital Tuesday Challenge blog.
Since tomorrow is earth day, I thought it would be fun to have a "earthy" color challenge. Use brown and green, and another one color of your choice. (You may also use white or vanilla as your neutral).
For my card I used the image Susie watering flowers from the Digital Stamp Oasis. I colored it with copics. The sentiment is from SU's Upsy Daisy set. Besides green and brown I chose pink as my third color.
The green designer paper is from SU (retired), and the pink polka dot paper is from Hobby Lobby. Sorry, I don't remember who makes it. I embellished with prima flowers and pearls, a swirl from a sizzix die and stickles. I also decided to do some stitching along the outer edges. Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and be sure to visit the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog to see some more great card samples from the brand new Design Team and play along for a chance to win Digital Stamp Oasis Images.

Stamp Something with Friday Sketchers
Hello and happy sunday!! I hope you are having a great day.
I made this card friday but have been so busy with the selection of the Digital Tuesday DT that I just didn't have time to post this.
The challenge at the Stamp Something blog was Something yellow, green and blue and I used this weeks sketch from the Friday sketchers blog.
Of course the color yellow made me think of my Susie Squirrel with Dandelion image. Accessories included are prima flowers, brads, punched out butterflies using a martha stewart punch, a swirly die from sizzix, liquid pearls and stickles. The Designer paper is from DCWV (butterflies and blossoms short stack), so saffron, pacific point and GP white 110lb card stock.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Cute card Thursday - Penny Black
Hello and happy Thursday! I hope you are having a great day and got to create something. I had a very busy week over here and it has been a week since I posted my last card. I had to put "make a card" on my to do list. LOL I made the card for today's Cute Card Thursday, to use flowers in your design. The images is from Penny Black, I received it from an image swap. I colored it using copics. The card is kept pretty simple since the image is so large. I added stickles to the flowers and added the butterflies which were punched out using a Martha Stewart punch.
Colors used are pink pirouette, gp white 110lb, and wild wasabi, and more mustard for the butterflies.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog, and for those of you who love to use digital images, be sure to check out the new Digital Tuesday Challenge blog. Oh, and tomorrow, 4/17 is the last day to enter for the Digital Tuesday challenge blog Design Team. The info can be found in this post.

3 in 1 Oh so yummy!
Hello and happy Friday!!
Today's card I made with 3 challenges in mind. First I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers. Beautiful sketch! I flipped mine around. Second, I really wanted to participate in the Creatively Cute Blogger Challenge this time, because I have been so bad and haven't been doing them!! (sorry my CCB friends). This challenge is open to everyone, you can find info on Jackie's blog. She is the hostess and it is an inspiration challenge! Third, I wanted to enter it to this weeks Stamp Something challenge-shape somethings- and I sure have lots of shapes on this card!
Ok, onto my card. I used the cute Sammy Squirrel eats strawberries image from the Digital Stamp Oasis It was colored using copics. Papers are basic gray, kiwi kiss, whisper white, riding hood red and bashful blue prints designer paper by SU. The sentiment is from the SAB set "Yummy". I masked the other words off because all I wanted is "Yummy". Swirls are made with a sizzix die, flowers are prima and the butterflies were punched out with my brand new Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Below is my inspiration picture.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and if you like to use digital images be sure to check out the new digital tuesday challenge. Below is my inspiration picture. I chose the colors that I see in the picture.

Digital Tuesday # 2 Shabby Chic
Hello and welcome!!
First I would like to thank everyone who participated in the last challenge. I hope you enjoyed working with the sketch. I will post the winner of the last blog candy later today. I have decided to move the challenge to a new blog, you can check it out here.
Today's challenge is "Shabby chic". While I don't do this style very often, I love the look.
I used the "Mushroom Lane- Butterfly" image from the Digital Stamp Oasis. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. Did lots of sponging and distressing to get a shabby look. I don't have a distressing tool, I just use a pair of closed scissors. I also got out my Janome mini sewing machine and did some sewing along all of the edges. To finish off the card I added the leaves (made with a sizzix die), prima flowers (which I also sponged), with rhinestone brads and the crocheted ribbon. I also added flatback peals to the corners and stickles to the dots on the butterfly and the mushrooms. The sentiment is from SU's set Happy Harmony.
Papers used are riding hood red and garden green (SU). Designer paper by K&company.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you decide to play along too. You can check out the details of this challenge at my new challenge blog "Digital Tuesday Challenge".

2 cards------Penny Black saturday and saturday sketch challenge
Hello and thanks for visiting my blog today! I have two cards to show you today.
The first one was made for this weeks sketch saturday challenge. What an awesome sketch!
The image I used is from the Digital Stamp Oasis. I like to print several images at a time and keep them in the box with my swapped images. It was colored with copics. The designer paper is from Basic Grey's "Eva" collection. I embellished with prima flowers and a cuttlebug die, stickles and martha stewart lace border punch. I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edge. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's upsy daisy set.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made this second card for this weeks Penny Black Challenge. "Easter" is the theme. I received this cute image from a swap. Again, it was colored with copics. I used the same sketch again, since it is so gorgeous and super fun to work with. The card is super simple too, I cut out the image and adhered it to a nesties circle. The card front was embossed with my cuttlebug folder. I embellished with prima flowers and brad and added a little bit of stickles to the flowers and the sentiment.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. And be sure to check out this post for a sketch and some blog candy to win. Only a few days left to enter!!

Stamp Something - Easter
Hello and happy Friday.
Today's card was made for the Stamp Something Challenge, the theme is Easter. Make sure to go check it out and play along, Digital Stamp Oasis is sponsoring this weeks challenge, so don't pass up the chance to win some of these cute digital images!!!
I used the image "Rebecca Rabbit the painter". It was printed on georgia pacific 110lb card stock (available at walmart) with my HP inkjet printer. I colored it using my copic markers. They work wonderfully with digistamps. I sponged the edges with lavender lace ink and applied stickles to the eggs and bunny ears. The swirls were made with a sizzix die and my big kick, the flowers punched out with SU's retired spring bouquet punch and flower trio punch and held together with brads. Designer Paper is from SU. I added some stickles to it as well. The sentiment means "Happy Easter" in german. I have lots of family in Germany and since I don't have any german sentiment stamps, I decided to make my own on the computer and punched it out using SU's large oval punch. I outlined it with a lavender lace marker. The sketch was inspired by an older Mojo Monday sketch. Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
Oh, and be sure to check out the above post for a chance to win some fun blog candy. Only 4 more days left to enter!!

Mojo Monday and the love birds
Hello and Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a wonderful day!!
I made this card last night for the Mojo Monday sketch #80. What a beautiful sketch! I couldn't resist using the Love birds from the Digital Stamp Oasis with SU's beautiful designer paper "Bella Birds" I love that paper! I added some stickles to the pink stripes.
The image was printed on GP white110lb card stock. It is what I use most of the times because it prints perfectly, is inexpensive, and works great with copics and prisma color pencils, I have also used SU whisper white with digital images and am pretty happy with that too, but don't have as good results when using prismacolor pencils with SU card stock. This image was colored with copics and cut out using my creative memories oval cutting system. The scallop oval was done with oval nesties and big kick. The sentiment was a freeby I received from Funky Kits when I ordered my Sugar Nellies. The heart in the middle is a small stamp from an old SU stamp set (sorry, I can't think of the name of the set).
Recipe:
Stamps: digistamp "lovebirds on a branch" by DSO, sentiment by Funky Kits (freeby), heart by SU.
Paper: chocolate chip, GP white 110lb, bella birds DP (SU)
Ink: HP inkjet, chocolate chip
Accessories: copics, stickles, ribbon, eyelets, paper piercing
Thanks so much for looking, and don't forget to submit your card for the sketch challenge I posted here for your chance to win some "candy".
