If Cats Could Talk..........

Hello everyone, a new challenge starts today at the Allsorts challenge blog and Lolo is hosting this week with her wonderful theme of "Delightful Animals". As always, if this theme isn't for you then there is the Anything Goes option as we'd love to see all your crafty makes (up to 3 per entrant). We are back to regular weekly challenges so you have until early Friday to link up with us. Prizes for this week are from AALL and Create.

Here is what I came up with:

The cat image panel is part of a very large stamp by Aall and Create - Night Stalker (unfortunately it appears to be a retired set but if you are in the US there are currently 3 available at Frantic Stamper). When I ordered this set I didn't realize how large it acutally is so I cropped part of the image off in order to make a 6x6 inch card.

The pretty flowers are from another set by Aall and Create - Flower Journey. This set is currently marked down at Aall and Create (low stock!!) as I believe they are retiring all remaining Tracy Evans stamps.

I found this background in my box of previously made backgrounds where I used Lavinia's Feather Leaf stencil with some pale green ink and splashes of yellow distress ink. The wording I used on this card is part of another stamp from the same Night Stalker set.

Such a stunning card Ellie - love how you have used so many stamps, and yet they all 'play together' beautifully on this card.

Ha-ha, that sentiment is so true. My son has said he wishes Jackson could talk sometimes, I'm not so sure I'd like that. ha ha. Pretty card.

I love this card, not just for the pretty scene you've created with this kitty, but also for that funny sentiment! LOL What a novel idea for a card and the hints of pastel yellow look perfect!

What a lovely way of conveying the mystifying world of a kitty! I love the way you have utilized the stamp with only part of the background cat shape showing. Beautiful! hugs, de
