I used several SU punches for the flower punchouts. The saying was stamped and punched out with the word window punch and adhered to the image. To finish this card off I added the ribbon and silver cord, did some paper piercing on the white card stoc and applied stickles to the flowers.
Stamps: Grasshopper fluffles (stampendous), Cute converse (SU)

Paper Craft Planet Sketch Whiff of Joy
I am new to Paper Craft Planet, still trying to find my way around there, but came across this Sketch Challenge . I love sketch challenges and am always happy to find the time to do them. Today I used Charlie Bond from Whiff of Joy Stamps. I actually was one of the lucky ones to win this stamp while they had their Advent Calendar blog candy. (Lucky me!!) The stamp is so much fun to color! I stamped with memento tuxedo black and colored with alcohol markers (blick studio, prismas and copics). I added crystal glaze to the glass and the small star. Since I don't own a star shaped punch (never thought I need one, but now I need one!!) I had to draw a star and cut it out. That star is covered with star dust stickles. Sentiments are from SU. I used the "direct to paper" techique around the edges of the designer paper card front. My card measures approx. 6.5 x 4.5 inches.
Stamps: Charlie Bond (Whiff of Joy), Riveting and cute converse (both Su)
Ink: memento tuxedo black, brilliant blue (for dtp the edges)
Paper: bashful blue, barely banana, pacific point (SU), Paper Stack (DCVW-I think), not sure who the maker of the polka dotted paper is.
Accessories: alcohol markers, square step corner punch (SU-retired), stickles, grosgrain ribbon (SU)
The sketch is below

Sketch Saturday week 31
For some reason I just couldn't get a card done the last few days. Probably from a lack of sleep. Well, today I pulled myself together and I actually finished it!! For this saturdays's sketch we were supposed to choose one of Sketch Saturday's sketches from the past. I chose this one because it is sort of simple, and that is the way I prefer my cards to look.
I received this cute Penny Black image from someone of SCS thru pay if forward images. I'm sorry I don't remember who I got it from, but thank you so much!! Image was colored with my alcohol markers (Blick studio, prismas and copics) and cut out with my cutterbee scissors. The two scallop layers are nestabilities that I cut out using my big kick. The bunny was adhered with dimensionals. The designer paper is from Stampin Up. I added stickles glitter to about every other dot on the paper. Stickles were also added to the tulips, daffodils and brad. Did some paper piercing around the punched out circle and the green nesties layer.
Stamps: Penny Black Bunny Joy(? not sure of name), cute converse (SU), Paper: White (Georgia Pacific 110lb), certainly celery, Designer Paper (SU), Ink: black, Accessories: nestabilites scallop squares, 1 1/4 circle punch (EK), small oval punch (SU), paper piercing tool (SU), celery grosgrain ribbon (SU), paper flowers and brad.

Pam and Buster in style
This card is for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS. I knew right away this is the perfect sketch for my brand new stamp that I won from
InStyle stamps thru a card contest. This one is called Pam and Buster. It was so much fun to work with. One of their design team members did the paper piecing technique and since I have never tried that before I couldn't wait to try it too. I paper pieced Pam's dress as well as Buster's outfit. Here is a great tutorial on paper piecing that I found on Cambria Turnbow's blog.
I added stickles to the clothes. Paper PIERCING around the blue sky. To finish the card off, I adhered the sentiment on a scallop circle punchout, added the two little flowers with silver brads and adhered it to the white card base.
Stamps: Pam and Buster (inStyle), Riveting (SU), Ink: memento tuxedo black, chocolate chip by SU; paper: GP 110lb white, chocolate chip (su), bashful blue (su), Designer paper by basic grey; Accessories: diamond dust stickles, flower trio punch and scallop circle punch ( both SU), 1 1/4 punch (EK), silver brads, paper piercing tool and template (SU)
Technique: paper piecing.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

A wedding card
I really need a card for a friends wedding soon. I used today's Everybody Art Challenge sketch to work on this card. I am not sure if this is the card I will be using, I might play around making a few more to choose from. When I looked at today's sketch this stamp set immediatly came to mind.
I stamped it on SU's shimmery white card stock, and colored with alcohol markers. I added a little darker tone with my SU pretty in pink and mellow moss markers. The birds were cut out. I stamped the retired SU background stamp "French script on the piece of pink piroutte cardstock and added a ribbon to it. The bow was attached with glue dots. To finish off this card I added a scallop edge border and the sentiment which I punched out with SU's large oval punch and adhered to the same size oval in mellow moss.
These are the colors the wedding invitation had with roses, so I thought it would be nice to have a "matching" card. I thought about cutting the flower out and adhering it with dimensionals, but really wanted to go for a simpler look. Maybe this sketch is not right for the wedding card I am wanting. Thanks for looking.
Stamps: Eastern Influences, Happy Harmony, French Script (all SU)
Paper: mellow moss, shimmery white, pink piroutte
Ink: memento black, mellow moss, pretty in pink
Accessories: Prisma color markers, copic markers, SU markers, wide organdy ribbon (SU retired), scallop edge punch, large oval punch (both SU)

Cards for Whimsy Design Team call
I know I should be getting ready for Christmas...but I am kind of a last minute type girl.
I came across Denise's Happy Stamping Blog and read that Whimsy stamps is looking for a guest designer for January.
Their stamps are sooo cute. I thought I'd give it a try. Make sure to check them out. I have never even heard of them until now, so I didn't have any Whimsy stamps to create my cards with.
Since it's so much fun, I decided on making two.
My first card for this design team call I made using a cute Penny Black stamp. I received the image from stampermom23boys from the "SCS pay if forward" image thread. Thank you so much Carrie!!
Colored with my alcohol markers, the large flower was cut out and adhered on top of the other one using dimensionals. Stickles was added to the flowers centers and the bee's wings. Designer paper is from SU (retired). I also added stickles to the designer paper. To finish this card off I did some paper piercing along the actual image, and above the ribbon, added the sentiment with a flower and brad.
Stamps: Penny Black, stampin Up (vases in Vogue), Paper: taken with teal, bashful blue, pumpin pie, designer paper (all SU), white (GP 110lb), ink: black, Accessories: alcohol markers, grosgrain ribbon, stickles, scallop circle punch, brads.
For the second card I used the stamp set "Happy Heart Day" from SU. The rose red card stock was embossed with my big kick and cuttlebug embossing folder. I sponged some white craft in on the embossing. I stamped the image on Designer paper and cut out the heart. Then I stamped it again on white card stock and cut out the mouse. Everything was then adhered to white card stock, the mouse is popped up using dimensionals. I colored the image with my alcohol markers. Stickles was added to the grass, the stripes on the mouse's shirt, the dots on the designer paper as well as the brads.
Stamps: happy heart day, small script (SU), Ink: memento tuxedo black, paper: kiwi kiss, rose red, basic black, designer paper (all SU) white (Georgia Pacific 110lb), accessories: black eyelets, fabric and paper flowers, brads, grosgrain ribbon, stickles, dimensionals, alcohol markers.

Penny Black challenge 28
This week for Penny Black's Saturday Challenge
we were to make a multi-fold card. I decited on a triangle tri fold card. Beate has a great tutorial on SCS.
The finished card is a 3.5 inch square when folded.
I received this cute image from a image pay if forward thread over on SCS. I am sorry, but I am not even sure what the name of this stamp is. I believe it is called "love conqueres", but I am just not sure. For the inside I used a couple of stamps from "Critter Party".
I was in the mood for some purple, since I very rarely use it. So I went looking for a designer paper with purple. I found this DCWV paper pack that had several different ones to choose from. The image was colored with alcohol markers (blick studio, prismas and copics). I sponged a little bit of bashful blue and green galore on the background of the stamped image too. Punched out flower was covered with stickles. I also added some stickles to the swirls of the designer paper.
Recipe:
Stamps: Penny Black (love conqueres??, Critter Party) Stampin Up sentiment
Paper: perfect plum (SU), DCVW designer paper, white (GP 110lb)
Ink: black, perfect plum
Accessories: white ribbon, plum ribbon, spring bouquet, flower trio and word window punches, stickles

Delightful Hedgie
I can't believe I managed to make a card!! What a busy week I had.
I used 2 challenges to create it. (Makes it a little easier, less thinking involved : )
I used the sketch from the Stamp Something Blog and Limited Supplies challenge from SCS. For the limited supplies challenge we are to make a blue tone holiday (any holiday), with only one non-paper embellishment (glitter didn't count as an embellishment in this challenge). I decided on a valentines's card in blue. My only non-paper embellishment is the fuzzy fiber that I had forever and found in my leftover ribbon jar.
Stamps: Delights (Penny Black), Happy Heart Day (SU)
Paper: white (GP), Pacific point, green galore, bashful prints (all SU), DCVW striped designer paper
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Flower trio punch, spring bouquet punch, scallop border punch (all SU), paper piercing tool (SU), Alcohol Markers (Blick, copics, prismas), Stickles, micron pen, fiber, dimensionals

Paper: Chocolate chip, barely banana, green galore, Designer Paper (all SU) GP white 110lb

Penny Black challenge 27
I made this card for today's Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Use 3 flowers, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon, and at least one Penny Black image.
I am not sure if the Papers were meant to be Designer Paper. I sure have tons of it, but somehow didn't think about it today. My 2 papers are Bashful Blue and Kiwi kiss. Since Black and White are neutrals they don't count, right?
Description: I stamped the cute mouse image on white twice, colored it once and cut it out. I colored 3 mice on the second image and cut them out too and adhered them to the first image with dimensionals. Glassy Glaze was added to the lady bugs. Stickles on the flowers and presents. I just got these new stickles the other day. Until now I just used diamond dust, but got a few colored ones. They are soooo addicting!!
Along the edges of the blue card stock I did some embossing. The flowers on the kiwi kiss card front are from SU's set Delight in Life. I added stickles to them as well. To finish the card off I added the sentiment, gingham ribbon and eyelets.
Stamps: mice surprise (PB), Riventing (SU) Delight in life (SU)
Paper: bashful blue, Kiwi kiss, basic black (all SU), GP white 110lb
ink: Kiwi kiss (SU), memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Blick, prisma and copic markers, stickles, glassy glaze, flower trio punch, spring bouquet punch, ribbon, eyelets

InStyle Stamps Giveaway challenge * I won I won!!
I can't believe I got this card finished in time! Just a little over an hour ago I found out about this challenge on the InStyle Stamps blog and since I haven't made a card for a couple of days I thought I'd use this challenge as an excuse to get my stamping stuff out. From what I hear they are a new stamp company and what I have seen so far their images are adorable.
Now to my card.
One of the stamps you could use for this challenge was a bathtub scene. This image came to my mind right away. I love bugs (cute bugs that is).
Image was stamped on GP white cardstock and colored using my Stampin Up markers. I then cut the image out and adhered it to half bashful blue and half checkered designer paper with a strip of white for the bathroom floor. This was matted on barely banana cardstock. Added about 2.5 inch strip of designer paper to the white card base and then adhered the matted image to the card base. The thin glittery strip of card stock is ruby red, I added stickles glitter to the whole strip. Sentiment is from SU's warm words stamp set. I stamped it and punched it out with my large oval punch (SU) Then adhered it to a circle (1 3/4 " Paper shapers) and added the small flower with brad for a finished look. I added the same flower to the top left corner and applied stickles to the flowers. I also added dimensional glaze to the ladybug's wings. Paper piercing around the tip edges of the card.
Stamps: Alota rubber stamps, stampin up
Paper: GP white 110lb, bashful blue, barely banana, ruby red (SU), Designer paper (unknown)
Ink: versafine onyx, SU markers in bashful blue, barely banana, yoyo yellow, ruby red, blush blossom, pretty in pink.
Accessories: SU markers, blender pen, oval, circle and flower trio punches, stickles glitter in diamond dust, piercing tool and template (SU)

A flower for you
I made this card for the Penny Black saturday challenge
What a beautiful sketch was up today!!
I used the Penny Black stamp Poppy field. Isn't it an adorable stamp?
Colored with my blick studio and Prismacolor markers (they are both the same, the blick markers are a little bit cheaper). I used my cuttlebug swiss dots folder to emboss the white card front.
Stickles was added to the poppies, butterflies and the punched out flowers.
Stamps: Poppy field (PB), Vases in vogue (SU)
Paper: kiwi kiss, riding hood red, Prints Designer Paper (SU), white 110lb (GP)
Ink: black versafine
Accessories: cuttlebug folder, stickles, several punches, felt flower, brad, ribbon.
Thanks for looking.

Happy Hedgies sketch saturday
I made this card for today's sketch saturday.
I know I added a little bit too much dazzling diamonds glitter. But I guess it is ok.
The card front is GP white, which I used the swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder on. I adhered an older SU holiday designer paper to the bottom part of the card front, and a strip of figgy puddy by basic grey designer paper. The main image is by Penny Black. I think it is called "sledding". It was colored with blick studio markers which are similar to prismacolor markers. Happy Winter comes from a retired SU stamp set "happy winter". To finish this card off, I used punched out snowflakes and a little ribbon, and like I said added a little too much dazzling diamonds. (couldn't find my bottle of stickles), the card base is chocolate chip.
Stamps: Happy Winter (SU), sledding ? penny black
Paper: choc. chip, GP white, SU and basic grey designer papers
Ink: black
Accessories: blick studio markers, dazzling diamonds with 2way glue pen, martha stewart snowflake punch, chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon, swiss dot embossing cuttlebug folder, big kick

A springy card
I came across another great blog Everybody-Art-Challenge
The sketch is wonderful. I think you can even win some blog-candy.
I received this cute image from laurlynn from a PIF thread on SCS. Since I am all done with my christmas cards for this year I thought I'd make a springy card. I know it is very early, but I can't help starting my christmas cards early, so I am already done (they just need to be dropped off now)
Image was colored using my blick studio markers. It was cut out with my CM oval cutting system and matted on a green galore oval. The card front is sahara sand card stock. Designer Paper is by K&Company "classic bailey collection. I added stickles to some of the stripes. The strip of green galore card stock was run through my big kick using a cuttlebug folder, sorry I don't know the name of the folder as I thru the packaging away. I went over the embossed card stock with the ink pad to darken the raised parts a little. I also sponged the edges of the white oval with blashful blue and the edges of the Designer Paper with rose red. I added stickles glitter to the main image and to the little yellow punched out flower. The card base is white, and is a 5.5 inch square.
Stamps: serene spring, small script (both SU)
Paper: GP 110lb white, SU: sahara sand, green galore, K&company designer paper
Ink: black, green galore, bashful blue, rose red
Accessories: ribbon, fabric flowers, punched out flower, brad, flower trio punch, CM cutting system, cuttlebug folder, big kick, stickles glitter

Waterlily skiing is happiness
I created this card with a sketch from the sketch saturday blog. I am not sure if we were supposed to use only whiff of joy stamps. Well, I used Penny Black since I don't own any Whiff of Joy stamps (yet).
First I made the "water" using SU's bashful blue with their scallop edge punch. The second layer was adhered to the first layer using dimensionals. The mouse and butterfly were colored with my blick studio alcohol markers and then cut out with my sharp cutter bee scissors. I added the silver cord to the mouse' paw and attached the butterfly to the other end. The mouse was then adhered in between the two layers of scallop edges and GP white Cardstock and the butterfly was adhered to cardstock. This was matted on kiwi kiss cardstock. Designer paper is from SU. I applied stickles glitter randomly on the flowers and dots of the Designer paper. Before I attached the designer paper I attached the old olive ribbon the the left side of the card. The designer papers were then adhered to the GP white card front according to the sketch. I did some paper piercing along the edges. To finish this card off, I added the sentiment using the oval and circle punches by SU, and also used the photo corner punch on the left top corner with flowers added to the sentiment and photo corner. I also applied stickles glitter to the water lily.
Stamps: water lily skiing by Penny Black, SU sentiment
Paper: kiwi kiss, bashful blue, Designer Paper (all SU), white (GP 110lb)
Ink: versafine black
Accessories: blick studio markers, several punches, paper piercing tool and template (SU), felt, fabric and paper flowers, brads, ribbon

Penny Black challenge Week 25
I just recently found the Penny Black Saturday Challenge Blog http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/2008/11/week-25-no-patterned-paper.html and this is so great because I just love Penny Black stamps.
This is my first Penny Black Challenge, we are challenged not to use any patterned paper this time around. I had so much fun making this card!!
I got this image thru the PIF thread over on SCS. I colored it using my blick studio markers, which are alcohol based markers similar to copics but much cheaper. The scallop edge mat was created with my nestabilites. The snowflake cuttlebug background I also received thru PIF http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401693&page=2
I applied stickles to most of the snowflakes, as well as the snow in the main image. Glassy Glaze was applied to the christmas lights and stickles to the star. To finish this simple card off I added the sentiment Merry little christmas from an old SU stamp set "Cute Converse" punched it out and layered it on a larger cirlce, added the star button and brad as well as the stitched ribbon. Then I adhered the card front to Wild wasabi Cardstock. This was such a simple card to make but I do love how it turned out!
Thanks for looking!
Stamps: Penny Black, SU
Paper: GP white, wild wasabi SU
Ink: versafine black
Accessories: Blick studio markers, glassy glaze, stickles, star button, ribbon, punches, nestabilities, big kick, ribbon.

A cool sketch
I was blog surfing yesterday I found this sketch on Debbie's Blog Pink Poppy Craft Blog http://pinkpoppycraftbox.blogspot.com/2008/11/who-wants-candy.html
While I am too late to win blog candy I still wanted to make a card. The card is a 5.5 square.
I stamped the igloo on GP white and used my Creative memories circle cutter to cut out the stamped image and black circle.
Images were colored with alcohol markers. I added stickles to the embossed snowflakes, as well as the brad snowflakes and snow. The embossed card stock was adhered to black cardstock and then to the bashful blue card stock. I paper pierced bashful blue all around the edges. The card base is white.
Stamps: elzybells, SU
Paper: bashful blue, black, white
Ink: versafine black
Accessories: cuttlebug snowflakes folder, big kick, paper piercing tool and template, alcohol markers, black gingham ribbon, dimensionals, stickles glitter, oval punch, martha stewart snowflake punch, CM circle cutter.
Thanks for looking.
