Hello and welcome to day 6 of Whimsy stamps Release blog hop.

On Wednesday (19 September) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs and Shape EZ templates. From then until 25 September the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop! For my card today I used the super cute stamp "Heidi with Sledge" from the Wee Stamps collection. Isn't she gorgeous!!

She has been colored with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

The papers I used are from Bo Bunny which I bought sometimes last year.
Embellishments used are seam binding and some twine, a couple of buttons and then I added a snowflake which I cut out using one of Whimsy Stamps "Layered Snowflake dies". The sentiment is from the new set "Holiday circle pennants".

I would love to enter my card to this week's Catered Crop challenge. The theme is "tying a knot". My knot is on the white button by the snowflake. At Christmas Stamping all year long the theme is stitching, so I am entering it there as well.

I am so excited to be part of today's hop. For my card today I  used the adorable stamp "Jingle Cat" illustrated by Crissy Armstrong. What a cutie!!

I stamped the cat using Memento Tuxedo black ink, then colored using my faber castel polychromos pencils. It's hard to tell in the photo, but I have stamped/colored the head twice, then cut out and added with dimentionals.

The "Deck the Halls.." sentiment is from the new stamp set "Holiday Carols Notables 4". The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is by Penny Black.

I used papers from my stash, embellished with the new "Holly and Berries" die, a red button, some twine and ribbon. I have also added some diamond dust glitter to the hat, and gold glitter to the jingle bells.
To finish it off I sewed around the edges.

I am entering my card to the following challenges:

A little birthday fairy

Hello and thanks so much for visiting! I should really be in bed right now, but I wanted to share a card I made earlier today.

I needed a birthday card for a little girl, and since the challenge over at LOTV is "Flower power" I decided to use this cutie from Lili of the Valley for her card.

She has been heat embossed and then colored using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and a few copics.
The paper is from a pack that I recently picked up at Hobby Lobby, I believe they are by My Minds Eye, but I could be wrong. Did some machine sewing, and I embellished with some ribbon and twine, and a little button. I know I have just recently used this sketch on a christmas card, but I can't help but love it. I think it really shows off the image beautifully.

The sentiment is from the set "Celebration circle pennants" from Whimsy Stamps, it's been cut out using the circle pennant die, also from Whimsy.

Like I said, I followed the challenge theme over at LOTV (Lili's little fairies challenge blog) with the theme of flower power. They are also having a guest designer call. Would LOVE to get a chance to create with some more of these cute stamps, so I am trying my luck.  The challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is Children, so I am entering it there too. Charisma Cardz  wants to see things with wings, also at Crafting for all Seasons and Fab 'n' Funky the theme is "wings as well. Inky Impressions wants to see a card for a child, and then at
Celebrate the Occasion they want to see some twine and at least one button.

That should be all for tonight.
Thanks again for visiting!

 *******************************************

I am so excited to be part of the blog hop today, and to share my card. I used two of the new release stamps today, as well as one of the sentiments. I knew I had to have both of these stamps when the sneak peek was posted for the Design Team.

The stamps I used today are from the Crissy Armstrong Collection - Christmas Choir Boy and Christmas Choir Girl, and I used a stamp from the sentiment set "Holiday Carols Notables 4".

I first stamped the boy image onto neenah card stock, then again onto a post it note. I created a mask with the post it note (only had to cut around the left side of the image though because that was where I needed the mask. Then I stamped the girl image next to the boy image, with the mask in place.

They have been colored using my faber castell polychromos pencils.
The paper is from a paper pack that I bought last year. I decorated with ornament diecuts using the new Ornament border die.  As I mentioned the sentiment is from the set "Holiday Carols Notables 4". I cut it out using the Notables 4 die. I simply embellished with some ribbon, and sewed the edges. Glitter was applied around the image.

I am entering my card to the following challenges:

Amy's Kitty

Happy Sunday!

I have a card to share today using a super adorable digi from Wee Stamps. It's called Amy's kitty, and you can only get it by purchasing "Amy". It's a freebie attached to the file when you download Amy.

It's been a busy weekend, but I really wanted to make a card with this cutie, so I made another clean and simple one, but then I also really love this style right now because I think it really brings out the cuteness of the stamps.

I colored it using my faber castell polychromos pencils. Added a punched strip of designer paper to the top, and then some twine and the sentiment. The sentiment is from the set "Celebration Circle Pennants".  by Whimsy Stamps. It's been cut out using the Circle Pennant dies, also by Whimsy Stamps.

To finish it off I did some paper piercing along the edge, and added a little flower.

I am entering this card to the following challenges:

A Penny Black weekend Challenge

Happy Sunday all, hope you're doing great and are enjoying your weekend. We have some beautiful weather here today, too bad I have to head to work in a couple of hours :(

I made a quick card today. I saw that Penny Black has a weekend challenge this weekend, to create a mini card. And I really wanted to play along.
Here is my card.
The stamp is from the clear Penny Black set "Holly Jolly". I colored it using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils as well as some copics.

The sentiment is from the same set. I made a 3 3/4 inch square card. It's a really simple card, I simply stamped the image onto my card stock, then added a strip of patterned paper and gold paper (which somehow looks like cork in my photo-but it is a brushed gold). Then I stamped the sentiment, added some twine and a button, and glittered the stars and snow.

I am entering my card to the following challenges:
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Ellie.

Make a wish

Good morning and happy Wednesday!

Today's card was made using one of Whimsy Stamps August release stamps from the Elisabeth Bell collection. This cutie is called "Honeybee".

She has been colored using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and some copics for the skin tones. Thought I'd create another little scene using some dies and punches. The fence die is from Whimsy Stamps, I have also used the new leafy corners die set from Whimsy's August release to create the "vines" around the fence. The cloud die is from Memory Box, and the grass was done using a Martha Stewart punch.

I did some sewing with my Janome, and to finish it off I added some twine and a prima flower and button. The sentiment is from the clear penny black set "Critter Party".

I am entering this card to the following challenges:
Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you'd like to see a few more new Whimsy Creations stop by the Whimsy Inspirations blog.

Have a fabulous day!!

Tall Layered Cake

Last week I was the very lucky winner of Mo's Digital Challenge, and I chose the digi "Tall cake" for my prize. Love this image!

I wanted to play in this week's Digital Pencils Challenge too, and thought this layer cake would be perfect as the challenge this week is "Layers".

I colored the image using copic markers. It was then cut out. The papers are all from my stash, I think they are by SU and My Minds Eye. I used a stamp from the old SU set itty bitty backgrounds because the white paper was standing out too much.

The ticket sentiments are from the set "Celebration Mini Tickets" from Whimsy Stamps.  I cut them out using the mini ticket die. I simply embellished with some layered prima flowers and a button with some twine.

I made this card to fit the following challenges:

And that is all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Early Christmas Makes

Good morning everyone and thanks so much for visiting!

A new month is here, and you know what that means...a new challenge at Penny Black and More.
This month we'd love to see your Early Christmas Makes. I hope you'll join us as we have several fabulous prizes up for grabs again.

For my Design Team card I decided to create a card using the super adorable Little Elf Mim, illustrated by Mo Manning, which is now available as a cling  rubber stamp sold by Penny Black. It was so much fun to color!! And I had so much creating the card. My colors were inspired by the designer paper that I purchased last year.

I used my faber castell polychromos pencils to color the image, and copics for the skin. Glitter was applied to the fur on the hat and dress, and also to the ornament.

The sentiment is from the clear Penny Black set "Holly Jolly". I added a couple of punched branches (martha stewart punch) and a little button with some twine. Then did some sewing and rouned the bottom corners.

I would love to enter my card to the following challenges:
Hope you'll find some time to play along for a chance at one of the fun prizes from our sponsors Penny Black, Stampalot, Art of Craft, Pretty Little Ribbon. Can't wait to see what you make!

Thanks again for visiting!
Enjoy your Sunday!
