Papercrafters Year in Review 2024 - End of Year Blog Hop Sign Up

Happy Monday!

It's that time of the year again, time to sign up for the "Papercrafters Years in Review" blog hop. (I am actually posting this a bit later than last year.)

I have written a Year in Review post for many years and just a few years ago I decided to make it a yearly blog hop so others can join in the fun and we can all visit each others "Favorites of the Year" post. I would love to have you take part in this hop as co-hosts.

When: Monday, December 30th - Sunday, January 5th

Details:

  • Create a blog post featuring YOUR OWN favorite creations of 2024 to be scheduled on your blogs for Monday December 30th 9am CST (3pm UK time)
  • You may choose to feature a top 5, top 10, favorite of each month, favorite Christmas makes, etc... it is up to you in which way you want to feature your favorites.
  • I will provide the html code for the linky tool to each person signing up as a co-host. It would be great if you included this in your post on your own blogs but not neccessary as long as you post a list of each participant.
  • You may invite your blog followers to link up their own favorites during hop week should they decided to create their own "year in review" posts. The linky tool will be open for one week starting December 30th.
  • You must have a blog to participate.
  • This will be a blog hop, so please plan on visiting and commenting on each participant's "Year in Review 2024" post when time allows during "hop week".
  • This sign up is for any papercrafter with a blog. You don't have to have a papercraft only blog - as long as you have some favorite handmade cards, scrapbook pages, etc. to share in your review post you are welcome to sign up.
  • Optional: You are welcome to offer a small prize to a winner selected from those who commented on your post (including other co-hosts) but that is totally up to you and it is absolutely not needed to offer a prize in order to be a co-host.
  • The blog hop will run for one week (December 30th - January 5th)
  • If at all possible, please have a permalink for your year in review post by mid-December when I contact everyone to confirm participation (around the 15th). This year I plan to add all co-hosts' year in review posts to the linky tool so you don't have to do that step when the hop goes live.
  • You don't have to complete your post, as long as you give your post a title and schedule the posting date, you will be able to access the permalink, then complete it closer to hop date.
  • To get an idea of how this blog hop works you can click here to see last year's hop.

I will close the sign-up linky tool on December 12th (may close sooner if I feel that enough people have signed up before that date), then I will message everyone with the hop list by December 18th so everyone will have plenty of time to prepare their posts even before Christmas should you want to work ahead on it.

This linky tool is for the blog hop sign up.

Papercrafters Year in Review Hop - Who Wants to Join In??

Hello everyone, as I haven't done a "proper" post for this year's Papercrafters Year in Review sign up post (and instead had just included it with other posts), I thought I better prepare one before it's too late! We already have a few who signed up to take part but there is still room for a few more and still a bit of time so here is all the info you need:

Details:

  • Create a blog post featuring YOUR OWN favorite creations of 2023 to be scheduled on your blogs for Friday December 29th 6am CST (12 noon UK time)
  • I will provide the html code for the linky tool to each person signing up as a co-host. It would be great if you included this in your post on your own blogs but not neccessary as long as you post a list of each participant.
  • Your blog followers are welcome to link up their own favorites during that time period should they decided to create their own "year in review" posts. The linky tool will be open for one week.
  • You must have a blog to participate.
  • This will be a blog hop, so please plan on visiting and commenting on each participant's "Year in Review 2023" post when time allows during hop week.
  • This sign up is for any paper crafter with a blog. You don't have to have a papercraft only blog - as long as you have some favorite handmade cards or other papercrafts to share in your review post you are welcome to sign up.
  • Optional: You are welcome to offer a small prize to a winner selected from those who commented on your post (including other co-hosts) but that is totally up to you and it is absolutely not needed or expected to offer a prize in order to be a co-host.
  • The blog hop will run for one week (December 29th - January 4th)
  • To get an idea of how it works you can click here to see last year's hop.
  • As always, you may select any amount of favorites to share, this can be a top 10 or top 5 (etc.), maybe you are extremely proud of one of your creations you'd like ot highlight, or you can select a favorite of each month which is what I usually do to make the selection easier :)

I will close the sign-up linky tool on December 9th (may close sooner if enough sign up before that date), then I will message everyone with the hop list by December 15th so everyone will have plenty of time to prepare their posts even before Christmas should you want to work ahead on it.

Papercrafters: Year in Review 2021 Blog Hop Idea - Looking for Participants/Co-Hosts

Year in Review 2021 Blog Hop Idea

In the last week of every year I always like to look back at all the cards I created over the year and select my favorites.

This year I thought it would be fun to collaborate with other bloggers who would like to participate in a sort of a "blog hop" where we will each create a post sharing our favorites and then use the linky tool I will provide to share our posts with each other. I am hoping there will be a few interested bloggers. The blog hop would start on December 29th and the linky tool will remain open for a week. Participants/co-hosts are encouraged to have their posts prepared by Wednesday December 29th, but it is not absolutely neccessary as the linky tool will be open for a week, so you may link up your Year in Review post any time during that week.

Each participants can decide on which way to write their Year in Review post, personally I always select a favorite of the month (to make it easier), but you may do a Favorite 5 of 2021 or even just Favorite Christmas Cards of 2021. These do need to be YOUR OWN creations (yes, we're tooting our own horns!)

You can take a peek at my Year in Review post from last year if you're unsure of what I am talking about.

Quick Details:

  • Create a blog post featuring YOUR OWN favorite creations of 2021 to be posted on your blogs starting on Wednesday December 29th. This is when the linky tool will be open.
  • I will provide the html code for the linky tool to each person signing up. Please include this in your post on your own blogs and all participants will link up their posts using this linky tool directly on  their blogs.
  • Your blog followers are welcome to link up their own favorites during that time period should they decided to create their own "year in review" posts. The linky will be open for one week.
  • You must have a blog to participate - new bloggers are welcome!
  • This will be a blog hop, so please plan on visiting and commenting on each participant's "Year in Review 2021 post".
  • This sign up is for any paper crafter with a blog. You don't have to have a papercraft only blog - as long as you have some favorite handmade cards to share in your review post you are welcome to sign up.

If you would like to be added to the list of "co-hosts" please use the linky tool below to sign up. Also please ensure there is an email address listed on your blogs so I can contact you with the linky tool html code for the blog hop when we get closer to the time.

The linky above is scheduled to be open until November 30th, but I may close it sooner or extend the sign up period depending on interest. And if there isn't enough interest I may decide not to host the blog hop at all.

Thanks so much for visiting!
