Year in Review 2023 - Blog Hop and a small Prize
Hello everyone! Hope you had a wonderful holiday spent with family. Ours was nice but once again some of us were sick on Christmas. My son tested positive for Covid a couple of days before Christmas and I started to feel a bit "off" on Christmas Eve, by Christmas Day I knew for sure it's Covid too and my husband also started to feel sick then. But we made the best of it and hopefully will all be recovered in a couple of days from now. Although my daughter somehow didn't get it (yet) and I'm hoping she won't this time around!!
Today is the start of the 2023 Papercrafters' Year in Review hop where we get to share our own favorite creations of the year! There are a total of 10 papercraft bloggers taking part this year as co-hosts, many thanks to each one of you for joining me!
Btw. even if you didn't sign up as a host, you are still invited to take part as we are leaving the linky tool open for 1 week. So feel free to create your own year in review post and link up with us! I would love to see what your favorites were!! The linky tool is at the end of this post and you may also find it at some of the co-hosts blogs.
So let's get started with my list of favorites. As usual, I selected a favorite of each month to make my selection easier so here we go :)
I linked the main products used below for those of you interested, but you can always click on the link above each card to find out how it was made. It will take you to the original posts.
January:
I love how the white background draws the eye to the fun image panel and banners. And of course can't help but smile when I see this frog!
July
I love the combination of these new to me stamps from different companies. The Aall and Create trees seem so perfect for this cute Colorado Craft bunny in the snow.
I always love to have a look back at what I created and what I choose as favorites. From the look of these I can definitely say I love a varity of crafting styles which works out just fine as they are for a variety of people. While I haven't used my beloved Penny Black cuties as much, I'm happy a couple of them made an appearance here. I can definitely see that I love creating scenes on cards and it's interesting that Lavinia's Seasonal tree was included on 3 of these 12 cards. That's definitely a great "worker" stamp!!
Here is the list of all co-hosts. Please stop by their blogs to see their favorites of the year.
- Alicia - Golden Goddess Designs
- Debbie - Secrets to Stamping
- Diane - Nellie's Nest
- Ellie - Ellibelle's Corner (you are here)
- Francesca - Percorsi di Fantasia
- Helen - Made by Helen
- Joanne - My Slices of Life
- Kate - Cards a la Kate
- Lillian - Lillian's Crafting Blog
- Tee - The Paper Layer
As a little "thank you" for visiting I am offering a little prize to one commenter. Please only leave one comment. The winner will be selected from the comments left using random.org. Anyone who comments will be entered, including other co-hosts. However, if you want to comment but don't want to be entered into the drawing, simply let me know in the comment and I will select another winner should your name be drawn.
The prize is a $10 Gift Certificate to Whimsy Stamps (offered by me, not Whimsy Stamps). For those overseas, they do offer digital products as well so it will be a nice little price for anyone from anywhere in the world.
You have until Friday January 5th (8pm US central time) to leave a comment.
The winner will be announced on Saturday January 6th with my Allsorts challenge post. It will be the winner's responsibility to contact me within 1 week.
Before linking up, please be sure to remember this is for papercrafts only (any kind!) and all other links will be removed.

Papercrafters Year in Review Hop - Who Wants to Join In??
Hello everyone, as I haven't done a "proper" post for this year's Papercrafters Year in Review sign up post (and instead had just included it with other posts), I thought I better prepare one before it's too late! We already have a few who signed up to take part but there is still room for a few more and still a bit of time so here is all the info you need:
Details:
- Create a blog post featuring YOUR OWN favorite creations of 2023 to be scheduled on your blogs for Friday December 29th 6am CST (12 noon UK time)
- I will provide the html code for the linky tool to each person signing up as a co-host. It would be great if you included this in your post on your own blogs but not neccessary as long as you post a list of each participant.
- Your blog followers are welcome to link up their own favorites during that time period should they decided to create their own "year in review" posts. The linky tool will be open for one week.
- You must have a blog to participate.
- This will be a blog hop, so please plan on visiting and commenting on each participant's "Year in Review 2023" post when time allows during hop week.
- This sign up is for any paper crafter with a blog. You don't have to have a papercraft only blog - as long as you have some favorite handmade cards or other papercrafts to share in your review post you are welcome to sign up.
- Optional: You are welcome to offer a small prize to a winner selected from those who commented on your post (including other co-hosts) but that is totally up to you and it is absolutely not needed or expected to offer a prize in order to be a co-host.
- The blog hop will run for one week (December 29th - January 4th)
- To get an idea of how it works you can click here to see last year's hop.
- As always, you may select any amount of favorites to share, this can be a top 10 or top 5 (etc.), maybe you are extremely proud of one of your creations you'd like ot highlight, or you can select a favorite of each month which is what I usually do to make the selection easier :)

Year in Review 2021 - My Favorite Creations: Blog Hop and a Prize; Plus 5 Most Viewed Posts of 2021
Hello and welcome!
Every year towards the end of the year I like to take a look back through the blog to see what I have created over the year and choose some of my personal favorites to share. This year I was wondering if anyone else would like to collaborate and share their own, and so we got a group of 6 papercrafters together for this fun End of Year collaboration!
This year's co-hosts are:
I hope you get a chance to visit the co-host's posts as well to check out their favorites of 2021. Not all co-hosts may have shared their year in review post yet, as the linky will be open for a week and co-hosts are welcome to publish their posts within this time. By the way, if you would like to join us with your own "year in review" post, simply create one with your own favorite crafty creations and then link up with us! (Linky tool is at the end of the post.)
PS: Some of the co-hosts may be sharing some blog candy too, I am not sure, but there is a little prize to be won from my blog and a winner will be selected from the comments left. (Not the linky tool).
Choosing favorites is really not so easy, but to make it easier on myself I like to choose one from each month so here they are:
By the way, if you want to read more about each creation, you just have to click on the link above or the card directly and that will lead you to the original post with all the info. I did include the main products used here for those of you interested. Some of those may be affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase through links as always at no cost to you.
