Happy Tuesday all!!
Hope everyone is doing great and enjoys this holiday season! I am all set, presents are just about all bought and my tree is up and looks pretty :-) Just have lots of wrapping to do now.
Today's card is for this week's
digital tuesday challenge. Our hostess Lorraine chose an awesome challenge for us, to make a card inspired by a Christmas verse or carol. So much fun!!
My first song choice was "Jingle Bells" and I really wanted to make a card inspired by "Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh". But, since my husband didn't get a chance to draw me a "one horse open sleigh" image and I could not find one online, I thought of my "lovebirds on a branch" image and immediately had the "12 days of christmas" song in mind.

I did minimal coloring with Stampin Up markers and copics. Used the Martha Stewart branch punch and some red brads for a christmassy feel. I also added frosted lace stickles to some of the branches to make it look cold.
My designer paper is from Stampin Up from a couple of years ago. Card stock is white and sage shadow.
I layered the image on a paper doily. To finish off the card I added some ribbon, sentiment on the tag and cuttlebugged corners with charms on each one.
This image is available in my
etsy store, and right now if you buy 3 images you can choose 2 additional images for free.
This card also fits the challenge at this week's
cupcake craft challenge with a similar theme "Sing a christmas carol".
Ok, that's it for today, if you're up for a fun challenge why not join us at digital tuesday for a chance to win some digis from my store the Digital Stamp Oasis.
