Soooo many presents

I had this image sitting around forever but never had a chance to make a card with it. And since I really wanted to color today, I decided to make a birthday card too.

This is a digi from Cuddly Buddly. I was one of the lucky winners back when they still did challenges. And this was one of the images I picked as my prize. It's so cute and just perfect for boys cards.

I kept it pretty simple, since I don't really have too much time today, and I like simpler cards at the moment anyway.

The image was colored with my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. Papers are from Stampin Up, Neenah, and designer paper is from My Minds Eye. Did some sewing around the edges, and then I added some ribbon and a button with some linen thread.

The sentiment is from the set "Party mini letter seals" by Whimsy Stamps, another one of my favorite Whimsy Stamps sentiments.

I am entering this to the following challenges:

And that is all for today! Thanks so much for visiting!

Time to Party

Hi everyone!

Here is a card I made using Whimsy Stamps new rubber stamp Party Time Cat by meljen's designs. Love this stamp!! I used to have him in digi-format until my laptop broke and this was one of the digis that I had lost. Soooo excited that I have him in rubber now!

This cat just cracks me up and he reminds me so much of my own cat Thomas. Although this time I colored him in gray (Thomas is an orange tabby.)

I colored him with my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. After stamping and coloring the image, I cut it out and added the silver cord to the balloons. Two of the balloons were popped up with dimensionals, and I added some glassy glaze for a shiny finish. I stamped SU's itty bitty background stamp around the circle.

The papers are all from my stash, they are probably by the paper studio from Hobby Lobby. But I could be wrong.

The ticket sentiments are from Whimsy's set "Celebrations mini tickets", and I used the mini ticket die to cut them out. The corners are from a new set of shapeology dies, just released last month "Corners shapeology dies". It's a set of 4 dies.

I am entering this card to the following challenges:

please CLICK HERE to start the hop at Debbie's blog.

For my card today I used the stamp "Chloe".

I used my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils for coloring, and I can tell you this one was just as much fun coloring as the "Picked Sweet" image from yesterday's sneak peek.

I used a pretty simple sketch here, the blue designer paper is by stampin up, and the pretty strip of paper is by DCWV. I placed a paper doily behind the image. I really wanted to add more flowers, but they just looked like they took away from the the beautiful image, so I left them off. Instead I added a little bow and a button with some linen thread.

The sentiment is from the set "Thank you tabs 1" by Whimsy Stamps. It has been cut out using Whimsy's Tab 1 die.

I would love to enter this card to the following challenges:

Your next stop on this hop is Dena's fabulous blog!

Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order in case you get lost.

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy the new release!

Whimsy's Cottage Cutie Sneak Peek

Hi everyone!

Yesterday we announced the exciting news that the amazing Elisabeth Bell has joined the Whimsy Stamps family of artists.

Elisabeth’s debut release for Whimsy Stamps is the Little Cottage Cuties line of rubber stamps and will be available to buy from the Whimsy store tomorrow (7 March 2012). In the lead up to their release, the Whimsy DT and Special Guests are excited to share with you 2 days packed full of previews of these gorgeous stamps.

Today we are sharing projects made with Chloe and Picked Sweet, and we are holding a 24hr mini blog hop to celebrate!

We have hidden one Chloe rubber stamp and one Picked Sweet rubber stamp somewhere along the way, so be sure to leave a comment on ALL of the DT's posts listed below by 12.00PM EST tomorrow to be entered into the prize draws.

Here is my creation for today's mini hop.

I used the stamp "Picked Sweet", which I have to say is my personal favorite from this release.
I colored her with my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

The beautiful paper is by Prima Markerting (Madeline collection).
I embellished with a few prima flowers and pearls, some linen thread, and flourishes which were cut out using Whimsy's "vines" shapeology die.

I decided to add a little bit of gold glitter to the flowers and the designer paper. The fence on the bottom was punched out with a Martha Stewart punch.

I am entering this card to the following challenges:
