Good Bye Stamp Something

Hi everyone and thanks so much for stopping by today.

Today is friday and we have a new challenge for you at

stamp something.

I am sad to say that this is my last card created for Stamp Something as a designer. I have been on the design team for 8 months and now had to come to the decision that it was time for me to step down, as in the last few months I always struggled to get my card done on time. And I know that summer is going to be even busier with everyone home.

This week is our monthly digi challenge. That means you can create anything you like as long as you use something digital in your design.
We are being sponsored by several wonderful companies again, each offering a great prize. So be sure to play along!!

For my card today I was able to choose an image from Bugaboo digi stamps, one of the sponsors this week.

Here is my card.

The image I used is called "Garden cat - Mischief". Isn't it adorable??!! I colored it using copic markers. Don't really like how my coloring turns out with these, but I hate seeing my many copics collect dust, so I am trying to use them more. And maybe I'll get better at it.

I did another clean and simple card for today. I followed the sketch from "The sweet stop".
The sentiment is from stampin up. I simply embellished it with a small punched out flower with sticky pearl center.

I am entering this card to the following challenges:

Ok, that's it for today. Hope you liked my simple card! And hopefully you'll join us for a chance to win one of the prizes!

Whimsy Stamps June Digital Release!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

It is new release day at Whimsy Stamps ! Lots of new gorgeous digis, plus digi designer papers were just added to the shop including images from Chrissy Armstrong, Meljen's, Moon Cookie Gallery who just joined us last month, and from our brand new artist Kathryne of Stamp Art Design.

And as you might know Whimsy Stamps also expanded their digital design team, so there are going to be lots of gorgeous samples for you to look at!

Since there are so many designers now, there is going to be one group showcasing cards on the inspirations blog featuring new images, and then there is our monthly blog hop going on with the other group. Be sure to hop along for some fantastic Whimsy Prizes and to see more of the amazing new designs.

For my card I used an image from Moon Cookie Gallery of Whimsy Stamps, Strawberry Sundae, which is available as single digi for just $2, or you can get the whole set of "Sweet Treats" with lots of yummies for $18. I think the images from this set are perfect for a quick clean and simple card!

Here is the card I created.

Image has been colored with copic markers. Papers are from Stampin Up. I embellished with a flower and button, and some ribbon. The sketch is from the twisted sketch challenge.

And here are some challenges:
My card was part of the Inspirations group this months, but to start hopping simply visit the Whimsy Inspirations blog with the hop order. There you will also see the rest of the inspirations group's pictures all in one place.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have fun hopping!!

You're my favorite.

(Use your favorite Penny Black Stamp!)

I told you it was easy! Well, it wasn't too easy for me to choose, because all my Penny Black stamps are my favorites, so I decided to use the first Penny Black stamp that I purchased.

This one is called "Chit Chat".

I used papers from my stash, embellished with some prima flowers and buttons, added a little twine, and then applied glitter to the edges. To finish it off I did some sewing with my janome mini. My sentiment is from stampin up.

I have combined this card with the following challenges:
And that is all for this post. Be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team, as they have some gorgeous creations for you to look at!

Also, check back here in a little bit, as we have a new Digital Release over at Whimsy Stamps at 10AM EST with a blog hop starting at noon EST.
