Today's card was made for this week's Digital Tuesday Challenge.
Jenn is the hostess this week and she create a wonderful sketch to work with.
I decided to use "Sammy Squirrel eats strawberries" from the Digital Stamp Oasis. It is one of my favorite images that my husband drew. And it is so much fun to color!
The sketch
The designer papers that you see are actually just one single sheet of designer paper. It is from the "sweet stack" from DCWV. Image was colored with copics, I sponged the edges with certainly celery ink to soften it a little bit. I embellished with sizzix flourishes, prima flowers and the ribbon. The sentiment was made on the computer. For a little sparkle I added rhinestones to the flower centers and stickles to the strawberry leaves.

Ellie, love this strawberry paper (I have it too)...it goes soooo perfectly with this image of Sammy...I just love what you did with it... I found some really neat strawberry paper by Doodlebug that I can't wait to get an excuse to use it with this particular image...just waiting for the "right" moment...LOL...anyway...love it!
Oh my goodness Ellie this is truly a wonderful inspirational card. The image, papers and embellishments all work and look totally amazing.

O wow! what a perfect card!! I just love all of your cards. I can't wait to buy some of these images but somethings happening to our laptop so I can't get the printer hooked up yet..darn it! I love all of them...TFS!!!
