Hi all and thanks so much for stopping by!
It's tuesday and that means a new challenge over at the digital tuesday challenge blog. Emma is our hostess and she challenged us to make a card for a male. That IS challenging, at least for me, because I just love all the pretty colors and glitter, and gems.
I ended up creating a one-layer-card. I printed out the star cutting file from the cutting cafe and cut it out by hand. Then I sponged the edges with more mustard ink and wiped the same ink pad along the edge too. I distressed the edges using the back of my scissors then sponged the star using night of navy ink. My digital element, other than the template is the sentiment which is computer generated. I printed it out using dark blue ink on my printer, and cut it out. Sponged the edges and folded it several times for a distressed look. To get the texture on the star I just randomly "stamped" my ink pad on the star using night of navy ink. The sentiment was attached with a hodgepodge hardware clip and a dimensional. I added more mustard ribbon to finish the card off.
The star template is a cutting file from the cutting cafe. They generously let us design team members choose a file to work with. I chose the star because I thought it would be best for a masculine card. Be sure to check them out, they have several to choose from, and digital stamps too. It's tuesday and that means a new challenge over at the digital tuesday challenge blog.
