A happy hello

Hello everyone!
Here's another card I made using the same designer paper from Basic Grey as I did on my Eskimo card.

This time I used a Penny Black image. I colored this one using prismacolor pencils and baby oil. I found a you tube video a long time ago and that is pretty much how I taught myself to do this technique. I know it is not perfect but I am happy with the results.
Here's the link to the video if you'd like to look.

I embellished with ribbon, brads, punched out paper flowers, photo corners and sewing with my sewing machine. Added just a little bit of stickles to the flowers , but it is hardly visible on the picture I took. Sentiment is from Stampin Up. I punched it out using SU's boho blossom punch and adhered it to a punched out circle. (Can you tell I love punches??!!) Oh, and the edges were all sponged using creamy caramel ink.

That's pretty much it.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!! Hope you'll have a fantastic day and maybe get to create something fun!

I'll be posting the NEW Digital Stamp Oasis Design Team here on my blog tomorrow night, so be sure to check back Saturday morning to see who the new Designers are!!
