This is also the card I made for Annika, one of my Whimsy Stamps and Stamp Something Design Team mates. Whimsy is holding a "circle of friends" blog hop for her to show her that we are there for her in this difficult time. Unfortunately I did not have time to be part of the hop but of course Annika has been in my thoughts and I hope this card will put a little smile on her face. If you'd like to hop along to support Annika you can start here at Crystals blog.The image I used today is from Phindy's place. It has been colored with my derwent coloursoft pencils and then blended with baby oil.
I used some brand new gray patterned paper from a DCWV stack that I just picked up at Joann's. The pink Designer paper is an oldie from Stampin Up. I distressed and sewed along the edges. The flowers were made by punching out assorted flowers with a Su punch (spring bouquet - retired), then I crumbled them up and then layered them.
My sentiment is from Stampin Up.
I have made this card with a few other challenges in mind:

- Delightful Challenges (include a heart - heart shaped balloon)
- Creative Belli (the letter P - how about puppy)
- Fab n funky (use a digi)
- Stamp scrap and doodle (get punchy)

Love this Ellie, I think all the samples turned out fabulously. I do hope others are inspired to try this challenge. Quite nervous now!
