Whimsy Stamps Sept. Showcase Day 1

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of our September Rubber Release Showcase!

Yesterday, Whimsy Stamps released our September rubber designs and new die! From then until September 20th, the Whimsy Stamps DT will be showcasing these fabulous new stamps and shapeology die with a daily mini blog hop.

Each mini blog hop will have a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you will have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.

Here is what I created for today, using the adorable Pum Kinnie Fairy stamp by Crissy Armstrong, along with the Autumn Seals sentiment set by Raindrop Echo, which are both available for 10% off right now at the Whimsy Stamps Store.

I had so much fun coloring her!! I used my derwent coloursoft pencils and some blending stumps dipped in baby oil to color her. Skin was colored with copics.
The papers are from Stampin Up (olive), Neenah (white), and the Designer Paper is from DVWV harvest stack. It is a simpler card, I wanted to keep the focus on the image. So I just added a large prima flower, some flourishes and stitched the edges. Glitter was added to the fairy wings and leaves.
