Welcome to Day 2 of Whimsy Stamps October release showcase!
On Wednesday (12 October), Whimsy Stamps released this month's rubber designs and new shapeology dies. From then until 19 October the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new stamps and dies with a daily mini blog hop.
Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.
Here is what I created for today's showcase.
I used the stamp "Mistletoe" by Kenny K, along with a stamp from the sentiment set "Holiday Postage Stamps" by Raindrop Echo. Once I know who will get this card I will fill the name into the spot and mark it accordingly. The flourish shape was cut with a Whimsy Shapeology die from the September release, it's called "vines" and is gorgeous!!
I colored the the image using distress inks and then cut it out. Frosted lace stickles glitter was applied to the fur on the image. I distressed all the edges and sponged with distress ink. I followed the sketch from the sweet stop.
And here are all the challenges I am entering this to:
Aud Sentiments Challenge - Use any Sentiment (Winter Theme)
Charisma Cardz - In Stitches (real or faux)
ABC Christmas Challenge - use your unused stash (first time us of of the stamps in this card)
Crafty Cardmakers - Anything Goes
Karens Doodles - Distress It
Squigglefly - Yipes Stripes
Stamptacular Sunday - So Distressing
Sweet Stop - SKETCH
