I made today's card using the new Whimsy Stamp " April Sunshine" from the Elisabeth Bell collection.
I decided to dig out my copics for this one, hated seeing them being neglected, but pencils are just so much easier for me to use...I am not very happy how this coloring turned out. Maybe the image wasn't the right one for me to use with copics. I especially struggled with her hair. Oh well, I just need some practice, if I just had the patience!
The papers are from Prima Marketing (Madeline collection). I embellished with some punched out butterflies, die cut flowers and leaves, some sticky pearls and a button with some white twine.
The beautiful sentiment is from a new set by Whimsy Stamps Raindrop Echo designs - Everyday Sayings Notables 4, and I used the matching Notables 4 die to cut it out.
I am entering this card to the following challenges:
- Stamp and Create - Spring
- The Pink Elephant - Spring Time
- Catered Crop - the letter "B" (how about butterflies, a button, and a bow)
- Clearly Inspired - Spring
- Elisabeth Bell's World - spring is in the air
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!!

Afraid I struggle with Copics and much prefer watercolour pencils, but I think you are harsh on yourself and this card looks stunning to me.
