Good morning, here I am with another Whimsy Stamps new release creation! Thanks so much for visiting!
It's day 4 of the June rubber stamp and die release blog hop! I hope you were able to hop along the last 3 days for a chance to win, if not you still have a few more days to enter into a drawing.
Here is my card for today. I used the stamp "piggy bath" from Whimsy's Meljen's Designs collection.
I am really enjoying creating these scene-type of cards, and I think the Meljen's stamps are just perfect for that purpose.
I had a double scallop circle doily diecut laying around, from when I played around with it when I first got it last month, and since it was the color yellow, I thought it would look cute as a sun. So I cut it to fit the corner and turned it into my sun. It's such an amazing die!!
The clouds were done using the Puffy Cloud dies from memory box. And I used the Martha Stewart grass punch for the grass, as well as one of her butterfly punches.
The sentiment that I used here is also from Whimsy Stamps from the set "Ticket Notes". I really wish I would have used the ticket die to cut it out, but I didn't think about it until just now while I type this.
To finish my card off I embellished with a button and some twine, which I got from Whimsy Stamps Embellishments corner. They have several colors to choose from! I don't know about anyone else, but I sure am addicted to using twine!
Don't forget:
Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.
To be entered into today's mini blog hop prize draw, be sure to leave a comment on ALL of the DT's posts by 12.00PM EST tomorrow. You can find the complete list of hop stops at the Whimsy blog. All winners will be announced there on Thursday next week! Good luck!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
