Whimsy Stamps Showcase Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of Whimsy Stamps January Rubber Stamp and Die Release Showcase!

 On Wednesday  Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs, Shape EZ templates and *new* Whimsy Prints pre-coloured toppers. From then until 29 January the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

 Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw. To be entered into today's mini blog hop prize draw, be sure to leave a comment on ALL of the participating DT's posts  by 12.00PM EST tomorrow.

For my card today I used one of the super cute stamps from the set " Love and Hugs" by Whimsy's newest Illustrator, 2 cute rubberstamps.

  I colored this cutie with my Faber Castell Pencils.

The border was done with a new to me border die also from Whimsy, the double scallop border die. 

Papers are from my stash, i think the pink is by My Mind's Eye, a 6x6 pack purchased at Hobby Lobby. Thought the owl would look cute sitting on a branch, so I created one  by simply adding the flourish made with whimsy's vines die. 

Sentiment is part of this cute set. I used an oval SU punch to cut it out and layered it onto a choc. chip oval for some contrast. 

I added a little flower shaped button with some twine and then sewed around the edges to finish it off. 

Well, and that is about it. Hope you liked it!
