Children's Challenge at Digital Pencil

Good morning everyone, hope you're all having a wonderful Thursday!
Mo Manning is having a special children's challenge this week. I had told my daughter about it a little while ago when they first announced it on the digital pencil challenge blog, and she just couldn't wait to make a card for the challenge. She usually plays with my leftovers, paper scraps and images that I messed up on, she just doesn't want to waist them I guess and for her they are perfect. For today's challenge I let her choose a Mo Manning image, and she decided  to go with this cute kitty, which was a freebie a while ago, and is now available for purchase at Mo's store.

Here is her card.
I even let her use my faber castell polychromos pencils and yes, even my blending stumps. She wanted to make a birthday card, so I let her choose one of my birthday sentiments, the one she used is from Stampin Up, but I don't remember which set, as I have all the sentiments separated from their sets. She chose the silver ribbon, I did make the bow for her as she doesn't know how to make bows. The sentiment was stamped all by herself though. I can't believe how straight it turned out! Well, she wanted to add a flower too, but somehow she forgot...

So there it is, my 6year old's first officially blogged card :-)

Thanks so much everyone for visiting!!

I think she might need to come over and teach me how to use my pencils better. :-) Fantastic job by your daughter. So glad she got to play along with our fun at Mo's this week.

aw, this is so cute! your daughter has your eye for design and colour, not to mention she's more brave than i am for stamping the sentiment directly on the paper.
