Penny Black and More - February Challenge

Hello and happy Sunday to you all!

We have a new challenge for you over at Penny Black and More. I hope you'll play along. As always we have some fabulous prizes up for grabs, so don't miss your chance to win one of them!
You don't have to use a Penny Black stamp to play along, as long as it is a stamped image (not a digistamp) you can play along. Or if you have some Penny Black stickeroos, those would be perfect too.

We have a nice and easy challenge this time around

Make it sparkle.

Here is what I made using a super sweet hedgie stamp from Penny Black "Asking the flowers".

I don't know why, but it took me forever to finish this card, because I had trouble deciding where to place the sentiment. You'd think with this sketch (that I do love and use a lot) it wouldn't take so long, but then the sentiment was smaller than what I first had in mind, and so I spent a long time deciding where to add it. But at least I like the final results.

Image has been colored using copic markers.

Have a fabulous day everyone, and stay warm!!
We got snowed in again yesterday and of course the temperature dropped again. Plus more snow for Tuesday - this really does seem like the never ending winter. But the good news is, there are only 4 more weeks until March!!!

Products used:
Stamps: Asking the flowers (Penny Black), Everyday Moments (Whimsy Stamps SCDesigns)
Papers: Prima designer paper, SU, copic blending card, recollections 110 lb
Embellishments: butterflies, glitter, pearls, twine
Tools: circle nesties, butterfly punch (MS)

Oh how cute! So beautifully coloured, I love the sparkle and the layout and as always, your stitching. I almost always struggle with sentiments so I rarely use them on my cards. this card is a good reminder that spring is just around the corner and I can't wait. We've never had so much snow!

Iv'e fell in love with this card Ellie. The cute PB hedgie with all those daisies
certainly brightens up a dull day. It brought a smile to my face.I wish I knew how to get my sparkly bits to show up like you have. I never seem to be able to catch them on my photo's.
