Playing with ink and a mix of stamps

I finally have a new card to show you! My lost package of Penny Black stamps has finally arrived and of course I couldn't wait to ink up some new stamps.
I created a floral card today, using a mix of stamps and inks, embossing powder and glitter.

This card was so much fun to make! I started out by inking up the paper using distress inks. Then I randomly used different stamps on the paper using matching distress inks. The large flower in the foreground was stamped using memento ink, so I could color it with copic markers. The last stamping I did was stamp the harlequin stamp with versamark and emboss with white embossing powder. You can find the complete list of stamps and products used at the end of this post.

Here is a another view.

I am playing along in a few challenges too:

A Vintage Journey -Anything Tim Holtz
Alphabet Challenge -  C for Country Flowers
Challenges and candies Flowers
Seize The Birthday -  Birthday Stitches
Crafty Creations - Happy Birthday
Tuesday Throwdown - Stitching
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Distress
Stamp and Create - Ready for Spring

I decided to show you one reason why I don't make as many cards as I want to -
because I hate cleaning up my desk when I am finished with a project. And it is hard for me to start a new project with this mess.

Below is the other side of my desk. This side is usually covered in designer papers and diecuts/ metal dies, but not today since I didn't use any.

Just noticed my embossing powder still dumped out, which I better clean up soon before the kitties get into it.
Thanks for stopping by,
hope you have a fabulous and sunny weekend!

Products used:
Stamps: Delicate Florals (Penny Black), Looks like Spring (SU-retired), Lavish Flourishes (Whimsy Stamps), Music sheet (Hero Arts), Simple Sentiments (NEW CLEAR stamp set by Whimsy stamps)
Inks: Tim Holtz distress inks (broken china, spiced marmalade, peeled paint), memento tuxedo , versamark
Tools: ink applicator, heating tool for embossing
Embellishments: glitter, embossing powder, button, twine.
Blooms colored with copic markers.

Thank you for your honesty about your work space. It's a relief to see that others end up working in a space no bigger than a postcard! I thought it must just be me.
