Whimsy Stamps - August Rubber Stamp release

Today is day two of  the Whimsy Stamps August Rubber stamps and Die release sneak peeks. All stamps and dies will officially be available for purchase tomorrow at the Whimsy Shop.

For today's project I used the stamp "Autumn Owl" illustrated by Crissy Armstrong. 

I am just in love with watercolor backgrounds at the moment and so I decided to create a watercolor wash background for today's card. I used a mix blues, purples and browns. Before I added the colors I masked off a moon shape. 

The owl image was stamped twice, once onto my background, and then again onto copic blending card. I colored the wood post and owl using copics, and then I extended the wire fence by using a micron pen.
