Today is the first Sunday of the month and that means it's time for a new theme at Penny Black and More challenge and this month it's all about "Boys and Men". As always you may use any brand of stamps, but traditional stamping does need to be the focal point of the card, the only expection are Penny Black Stickeroos. Hope you can join us for a chance to win one fo the great prizes we're giving away this month by Penny Black, Crafts U Love and Clarity Arts.
Enjoy Life as the focal point along with the birds from the Hero Arts stamp set Layering Sea and Sky. The background was inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and I used an old stampin up background stamp from the long retired set Looks Like Spring to add the diamond shaped stamping. The stripes were done with a stencil. I threw the package away so don't remember which brand I used, but this one by Altenew looks very similar.
Before I did any stamping and inking, I added a die cut mask to the card so I could have a white area in the middle. Tree, birds and sentiment were all stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
