Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday - July Challenge

Hello and welcome to Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday - July 2022 right here on my blog! I'm so glad you decided to stop by today, hope you will link up your new or recently made creation too! Here is what I made:

I started out my masking around the edges using painter's tape. Was going to use an ink blending brush to ink up inside the rectangle but then instead I decided to use an ink block to smoosh the colors onto the paper instead. I used Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. When the ink was dry I removed the tape and stamped Penny Black's Dainty Whispers image using Versafine Onyx ink. I paper pierced along the inked edges.

Sentiment is an oldie from a retired Flourishes set (as you probably know the company is no longer in business) I purchased it on eBay a year or two ago. A Sakura stardust glitter pen was used on the flowers/seeds and I added a few sticky rhinestones before adhering to the card base.

As introduced with the last challenge, instead of selecting a challenge theme I am now selecting a "Top Pick Twist". Nobody knows what the Top Pick Twist will be - not even me - until the end of the month as it will be totally inspired by YOUR creations! 

I will continue to pin the top picks to the dedicated Pinterest board, but will also include photo and link back to the origitnal blogs/sites here. These will be removed at the start of the new challenge to stay in compliance with GDPR.
