Happy Saturday! It's time for my new Allsorts challenge card share and since several of my blog readers wondered what the mistake was that my dear hubby fixed for me (on one of my last Allsorts challenge cards) I decided to show you the original card LOL. But first let's talk about the new Allsorts challenge, it's Sarah's turn to host and her optional theme is "Summer Days". This is another 2 week challenge for the summer. If you are done with summer crafting then please do share all your other new crafty makes (Anything Goes) for a total of 3 entries. We have Prizes from Stampendous, two beautiful stamps and one set of stamps.
For my card today I used the beautiful palm trees from Just for Fun Rubberstamps. I'm not sure what happened to the company but it appears that they are no longer in business. I used to be on their design team many years ago.
I started out by inking up the sky, masking off the bottom third. I used Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress inks/oxides. When this was finished I used Black Soot to ink up the bottom portion. The trees, boat and birds (both from a retired Hero Arts stamp kit) were stamped using Versafine Onyx ink. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz's Tiny Text sentiment set. I also used a MFT cloud stencil for a few clouds.

Ok, so now here I am sharing one of the card I had made for the last Allsorts challenge which my husband decided to fix for me or it would have ended up in the recycling bin.
I won't be offended if you laugh, I can't believe I didn't notice how wrong everything was until I uploaded it to the computer.

To comment the previously published card first: thanks for showing us the before and after photos. I think I have a lot to learn on how to save a card from the trash bin too. As for your most recent card, wow what fabulous colors for a night sky look!
That's a beautiful tropical sunset Ellie and thank you for showing the before and after of your rescued card. How fabulous that you have a Hubby willing to help!!

Gorgeous sunset card, I love anything with a beach and palm trees! Your husband is pretty clever, I'm impressed with his corrections (although I wouldn't have ever found the "mistakes" if you didn't share them!) Thank you for joining us at The Paper Funday Challenge.
Top card is fabulous!
